Abuse holy resistance. Guidance of Gold, the haligtree medallion, and sheild talismans cover for a multitude of sins
Block, shield crash, ashes of war with forward momentum, raptor of the mists, vow of the indomitable, explossive physic, holy negation buffs
Weapon glitches on older versions of the game let you fly horizontally for short distances, and because they give you absolutely no height it's not jumping. So that's an ez one already solved for challenge runners.
@@OnAChairSitting Don't the weapons in question need you to be past this point in the 1st place? Unless there's more than Malenia's and Radagon's that I'm amiss of, and I'd definitely consider either a jump in the 1st place.
@@DeadlockDrago Yeah but since this is a run just to see what's technically possible, we can assume either: New game plus, or a friend who drops the weapons, if literally the only thing the run is about is just "no jumping"

On an older patch the weapon glitches that let you run through the air would've probably let you find a way around Farum Azula, nothing but horizontal flight. Pure and untainted by verticality because you can't fly over anything that you can't walk over.
He could've also just used the butt slam to get over it.

Alternatively, can fight Rykard if the manor can be reached. Which is one jumping threat I think. Could have skipped half the way through the abductor virgin in Raya Lucaria and a precarious path with room temperature lava.
The Rya teleport would be the easiest way there

Now this might be counted against the rules since this would require a weapon art or spell, but what if you summoned an invader to hit you with something like stomp (upward) or crucible horns? The airtime might be enough to get over the ledge, and you wouldn't technically be jumping

Iron Pineapple did this inadvertently with his overloaded run. He did use two ashes of war to help in a couple of places, but I think there was only two required jumps in the whole game even including those ash of war uses. If you don't count ashes of war usage as jumping, the answer is zero. :) I haven't watched your video yet, but I'm excited to see your take on this! :)
Id argue using torrent is technically jumping... he has to JUMP up on him🤣🤣🤣... its in the animation

perhaps explosion from crack tear could be used to lift you up and pass that ledge unless you consider it a cheating
You can actually get an invader with stamp (upward cut) to avoid the jump
Does the exploding physic flask propel you up high enough to make the gap? if you had a running start and timed the explosion.

Doesn't the crucible knight have an impale grab attack in its wing phase? Is it possible to bait that attack to launch you up the small ledges?
If you have someone invade you at that spot and maybe see if they can use a spell or ash to put you over that little ledge maybe?

Does exploding yourself (with the tear) give you enough air time? I know we're not doing ashes, but exploding yourself is different.
It does specifically mention ‘OTHER STUFF’ as being against the rules unfortunately.

Not that it helps with this run, but the DLC trailer showed the Tarnished using an ash/weapon art that mimic'd the Crucible Knight's flying attack. Could be a useful tool for gaining height or flying over gaps on future attempts.

Bro just use the ass slam weapon art. Are you that slow? There are even more weapon arts than that that can get you over that ledge. The bolt of gransax I think has a lunge attack that puts you in the air.
