I loved the fight, but I always hated that she died here. As a kid, I hated it because I was six years old and I didn’t like that the pretty lady was being killed, surprisingly as a kid, I understood that much. I remember “Thinking maybe she’s just confused and doesn’t mean it”. Rewatching it later as a teenager, it occurred to me that she was being mind controlled the whole time and she didn’t deserve to die like that. Now these days I see it as a cruel testament to what happens when people like Stryker abuse their power, it’s the innocent who will suffer; always.
it's also a praise to how much of a threat she was to Wolverine, he couldn't beat her, she's just too vicious. So Wolvie had to fight dirty and in the end could not help killing her, it's just the only way Wolvie could stop her.
Despite being the defeated, i'm sure she earned Wolvie's utmost respect.

@@pranavupadhyay8939 Earlier in the movie, the colour in her eyes dissapears, and she starts to look confused, as if she's just woken up standing there. Stryker noticed this, and applied more of the fluid he uses to control people (His son's cerebral fluid iirc)

That was the best fight in the entire X-Men franchise.
This was actually a interesting changed from the character who didn't read comics she's became a cyborg but with sharp fingers and she's has a past relationship with logan
But in this movie she's more like a assassin and her sharp nails was made with adamantium just like Wolverine
