  • The Unlimited Rebate (Rabbet) Planer is one of the cleverest pieces of kit we make. Two unique patented innovations mean that this tool can do jobs others can’t:
UNLIMITED REBATE - As the name suggests, the TRPUL is best known for its patented ability to deliver an rebates of an unlimited depth. We’ve engineered the side of the tool to be perfectly flat and lined up with the cutting drum. The flat side also allows you to plane right up flat against any surface or wall!
TRIPLE-BLADE DRUM - another feature unique to Triton is the ability to deliver an extra 50% cuts per minute vs a competitors standard dual-bladed blade drum: up to 46,500 cuts per minute at 15,500 rpm! Extra cuts mean an impressive max. 3mm (1/8”) of material removed in single pass(!); greater blade life as each blade is doing less work; a seriously smooth finish from cleaner blades in better condition.
Only from Triton, get yours today for:
    Unique Features.
    Unlimited Rebates.
    Faster Stock Removal.
    Smoother Finish.
    Longer Blade Life.

Wow! This just what i need! So many planners cant cut rebates and to do so have to use a router or table router or table saw which is time consuming especially when you have to make cuts on site or at the job my only issue is you can only make rebate cuts one way so you would have to be so careful not chip out the end of the piece you cutting in my humble opinion to avoid this if the motor was made on the top of the unit then you coild cut either way also would be good if they had a cordless one but i guess to power the unit would require a big battery..

Brilliant video, I was about to buy one. But the 3 years guarantee is domestic use only! And the return postage for warranty is down to me.
    A shame.

The sand paper on the rebate sanding drum came loose and cut thru the thermoplastic cover door. Toolstream US Customer Service provide a new drum and cover door free of charge. Thank you. But instructions were insufficient for reassembly. Does anyone know how to reinstall the cover with torsion spring?

I see many router sleds used to flatten larger than planers pieces of wood.
I would like to see an electric planer used in a flattening sled for what I think to ve a much better result
But I am not very experienced and would like to learn if it would actually be better to use an electric hand planer

Still no carbide spiral cutterhead? I wonder why... 🤷‍♂

Cost! It would probably double the price of the machine and only high end, (wealthy) woodworkers would buy it.

This is correct! By itself, a spiral cutterhead costs approximately the same to manufacture as the price of the original tool. This is true across all planers

The user reviews are luke warm on this product. They site poor construction materials.
