This happened to me which prompted this video and I want to share with you what happened, how I was tracked, and how it was done.

Trying to trace scammers who keep calling me and bothering me
With a DSL via Centurylink. I have two modems from Centurylink, one is Zyxel c1100z and the other that is presently in use is techinicolor c1100t. Within the GUI on c1100z there are same elements, some different values such as uncanceled echo is -324db and the c1100t shows 0db. The line Loop on c1100z show around 1100 ft. While the c1100t shows 164 ft. Why is there this difference?

Here’s a suggestion for you take your phone put it in a faraday cage or wrap it in aluminum foil then drive 10 or 15 miles away unwrap the phone drive a few miles and then wrap it again and go home .leave the phone off all night this will irritate your phone providers but it also makes it impossible for someone to follow you everywhere .I’ve tried it it works my phone provider actually messaged me said I needed a new phone that’s funny why were they watching me ?oh well the bottom line is yes Virginia you can turn your phone off and hide it. From those who are following you.

I found a balance between the two - I show you the steps when you need to follow a tutorial, but I talk about the process when its not so you have the knowledge. What you do with that knowledge if up to you.

Whats extra creepy about this video is that someone purposely informed him that they knew his location. By doing that they are creating psychological harm. Using tracking devices is illegal in Michigan if you don't get the person's permission.

Hi Liron, I just wanted to check: these hackers tracked you down because you clicked on the shortened url that they sent you. However, if you didn't click on it, they would not have been able to track you down. It was all based on whether you did or did not click the link they sent you. So it really goes down to being very vigilant with which links one is clicking, especially shortened urls :)
correct. in this case it was a cloned sim card so the trust was there. BUT be aware that you can still get someone loaded on your phone without you knowing if someone has access to your phone for a couple of minutes. Also make sure you only install apps from the legit app store.
google tracks you to the very shop or business you go into ...they then send me a monthly summary ..very scary.
Personally i have my phone's GPS switched on and Google location history switched on. That way I can verify my location if I am ever falsely accused of a crime. So I wonder if using google location history ,but with a VPN switched on, is a better idea to stop other 3rd parties tracking my location using IP tracking ?

This is a common technique that any website you visit can use, but the question is why did you click on the short link? Shouldn't it be considered spam? However, it is not possible to track a phone in real-time because the IP address changes and thus the location, hence you would need to click the link continuously for it to track you, but a tracking cookie might be able to. That being said Google can track your precise location all the time down to the room you are in a house.
My ex friend did that to me.. He was disturbing and he was obsessed over me. He keeps telling me where I am and he is watching me.

I’m hoping you can help me. I switched from a router from my service provider to my own router(eero mesh 5). And now, I can’t get any external devices to work with Alexa. Such as, a Shark vac, plugs to switch on & off lights, air purifier, etc. I use to be able to switch stuff on & off through Alexa with the old router, but with the mesh system, I can’t. I’ve tried talking to each manufacturer about their specific devices & I’ve talk to eero themselves with no help from either. Would it be worth investing in the WiFi 6 instead of the WiFi 5 that I’m using or go back to my service providers router? No one seems to have an answer to my problem, I’m hoping you can tell me what I should do or how I can fix my problem. Thanks for your help.

What's the "back end?" Once the site tells me that the shortened URL has been accessed ONE time, where do I go to see that IP address and use it to track the phone and where it is?

A red flag: Someone gives you a phone to have then their google account is locked on your phone. Possibility he has a stolen phone. He can track your location. I know someone one with such situation. Different story: You can actually save money buy using your phone as a tracker: Purchase a cheaper one then hide it in your vehicle making sure its location is on.

I cant find this answer...i see imei number under my friend's phone number in my contacts list. Never saw this before so just learned what imei means. Why is possibly his imei showing on my phone under his name in my address book? Could he be tracking me? And even weirder from what im reading if i have his imei number than i can clone his phone. No desire to do that but curious why this is showing up and if im being tracked or something. Shouldnt the imei be private why would it show on my phone? @@kokoeteantigha389 you need to generate a URL using one of those IP grabber websites, then give the URL to your target, without them realizing its an IP grab. You need to have a valid excuse for them, for example that you're sending them a picture or file. Then use geolocation to see where that IP is from. However this isn't accurate, it doesn't tell you the exact location of an IP, in America it's usually accurate down to the city but not more than that.
If you want to track your kids, there are way better and more accurate methods but you need to install specific apps on their phones.

Could it have had an equal number of antenna , a portable signal blocker for most 2.4 3, 4g, wifi, gps, etc?. Operators cell wouldn't be necessary nor preferred depending upon range
I think the easier way they may have known you were traveling is the same way you get ads after merely mentioning something, active mic monitoring algorithm. You really didn't indicate who was messaging you when you arrived and that makes it difficult to analyze. If it were a friend I assume you would've just asked them how they knew you back already, you didn't say that. So I'm assuming it was some sort of service like check-in? If you happened to be logged into a hotspot provided by your airline, could it have been an autogenerated system message welcoming passengers? Either way it's not hard to tie together your gps and ambient audio to know where your are at, or even where you are heading, at any given moment. As far as VPN's, many of the servers used by vpn's are owned by the very internet providers they propose to hide you from.
I'm not sure this new technology is all THAT cool. In the old days, you immediately knew (within a 15 foot radius or so) where the person on the other end of the line was at that very moment (if they had one of those really long extension cords).😂

Tried it on myself. It knew what city I am in but where the marker was about 30-40 minutes drive from my actual location. I like the map though. I think it is much clearer than Google Maps.

An IP address is basically your device's address and number. Each device has a different IP address. It's best to keep your IP a secret; because, with it, people could track your location, name, your internet stuff, etc.

@@cas1889ify It depends. For some, it can change through updates; others when the device changes regions. And, for older devices, it stayed the same, if I'm correct. For your phone, you can find it in your device. It depends on the phone, though, I believe; like, you have to go to the bootloader, for some, while, for others, you just have to go to the system info within settings. :)
