Good, comprehensive info. I plan to do this trail again sometime, counterclockwise next time, and make it a 4-day outing instead of 3. The first night I'll stay at Cow Run. The second night I'll walk in to Titusville and stay at the one hotel there; I think it's the Quality Inn (provided they stay in business). The third night I'll stay at Wolfkiel Run. That should give me the time to check out all the sites you mentioned, such as Petroleum Center, which I skipped the first time.
