    We are back in the learning and HOW TO videos, with HANDSTAND PUSH UPS! This is a big one especially for the crossfit community. Remember we are big believers in getting the strength movement down, especially getting strict before we go into kipping handstand push ups. You will see how to KICK UP, how to scale, and how to build that HSPU strength in this vid!

    This is a GREAT explanation of handstand push-ups and the proper progression towards them! Most instructional videos on this movement either ignore many of the steps or reinforce improper position on either the handstand or the pike push-up. I’ve always enjoyed watching you as an athlete, and now I’m pleased to see you as a capable instructor.

    Very good video ! thank you so much. I can do 8-10 hand stand push ups for multiple sets, but I was getting lower back pain, and not feeling it was a comfortable movement. I can now see it' because my head wasn't coming down in the right place, and I was bending my head back as I push away from the floor which was tipping my pelvis, and I wasn't keeping my midline tight ! Thank you for the video!

    Hey Kristi, your videos are always so great, informative and well organised. I have been doing Crossfit on and off for a few years now but still can't seem to master push ups.       Kristi Eramo thanks for asking, truly i have no problem with Strict HSPU I can do max rep 23 strict HSPU, my problem with Bar MU but I started practicing your tips.👍🏽👍🏽

    Thanks, Kristi & Patrick. I've been working on strict HSPU for the past 18 mos or so. It took awhile to get comfortable getting upside as an over 50 yrs old!! Just started working on kipping HSPU to two mats. Your tips are excellent and good memory cues, too. Any chance of a rope climb video??
