This was my first kit I ever spray painted myself. All the kits before that were either hand painted (only 2) or my cousin sprayed it (only 2 of them as well)

Random Happens YT: My reference to two thumbs up is an expression used when one is completely satisfied with something. I know it likely ages me, but in the 80s and 90's there were two movie reviewers, Siskel and Ebert who used to give movie ratings with a thumbs up or down. Having said that thanks for letting me know about the like button.
Tried flat black enamel and shot it with clear. Came out like glass. Then wax it.
Would you like to build some big scale model 1/12 from tamiya or 1/12 or 1/16 from revell? If yes ,will you make some video for it?
what are you using to hold the hood scoop?
Have you considered using fine scotch brite to sand primer? I do it all the time, ditched the sanding papers entirely for that, I have equivalents of 300, 600 and 1200 grit scotch brite pads and they do an excellent job, especially around curved parts, they retain the shape of surface of the parts very well and sand off a very even and smooth layer of primer, leaving a perfect painting surface, and that's considering the fact I do it on 3D printed parts which have a much rougher surface to behind with than these car models, so it would be even easier on these. It's a much quicker and easier process than with sandpaper since the pads adapt to the surface of whatever you're sanding.

Honestly don't even know which brand it is, I get it in my local paint store. A guy has big rolls of it about 20 cm wide, and you can buy them in whatever length you want, 1 meter is like 5€, and obviously the advantage of it is that you can use both sides unlike with the sanding paper, and it can also be washed, it doesn't get impacted like sanding paper so you can use the pads for much longer. In fact I found that washing them in hand soap makes the pads a bit softer and even more gentle, leaving a smoother finish.

I just started getting into airbrushing as it should be coming in the mail soon what do you use to mix with the airbrush paint and what is the ratio that you use
Vinny D Zero paint is airbrush ready👌 the clearcoat should be mixed acording to the directions given.
@the scale model channel, i always use paint brushes to paint the small pieces, using small testors enamel paint or acrylic. What do you recommend? Enamel or acrylic?

Good job on all your builds men! Q: If you got a lint/spec in your paint, do you sand and repaint it? My biggest struggle is just that, having a poor paint booth I guess…. (Maybe a video on this if it ever happen(ed)? Cheers! 🤘🏻
If i have just a couple. I leave it. As it will happen again with a repaint. Try polishing them out

While it looks like a fine job. With several years of experience and awards. Priming plastic is only required when you need a neutral base. IE: plastic is molded in a colour that will bleed through. Adding primer hides to much detail hence why your etching so deep.

Revell made a couple '68 versions and a '69 GTS but I think you'll have a heck of a time turning it into a '70

Revll-ogram got bought out so right now everything is out of production but they should be back in business in a couple months. There are a couple on ebay that aren't crazy expensive but the market speculation right now is a little crazy so I would say be patient.
Many moons ago I owned a '73 Challenger someone hacked into a '70. The quarters were replaced twice (once I think with replacement '73 panels and then they got chopped in half for the early marker lights) and resprayed plum from the original E5 red/white vinyl/white interior. Talk about a Bondo bucket. Ah to be young and stupid again.

He wanted a gloss back Dart? Yikes. Primer black would look better and it could be built as Moonshine runner, aside from that he should stick with the normal Hemi colors. Yeah I know it's his car his choice, but Gloss black is way to cliche' for a such a high caliber car. Kudos to the great paint work as always!
