    7:38 Jeannie, as a proud Golden Retriever owner I shall answer your question with scientific and empirical evidence: retrievers have what's called a "soft mouth", it's a bred feature in which they will retrieve foul without damaging the birds and stuff, therefore they're one of those dogs that don't actually bite... they just use their fangs to grab stuff instinctually. They CAN and WILL bite though if they have another reason to do it such as given permission to eat the thing, misbehavior, no training, psycho dog, etc... I'm sure you can find videos of golden's holding raw eggs in their mouth... such a delicate bite.

    11:11 Real flashbangs actually consist of between 5 and 9 detonations in a rapid succession, with 5-9 blinding flashes and deafening explosions all happening in less than a second, so if they wanted to simulate it they should have the LED's flash and really cause an epileptic seizure.
    11:38 Back in the day in a lot of games they removed the crosshair for sniper rifles but kept the accuracy the same so a common trick to not have to scope was to put a crosshair on a piece of tape and put it on the screen. But in this case it looks like the crosshair is just hard to see in some cases because of a lot of bright white.

    That bit about Norah Vincent is a good read. She said that she tried to live undercover as a guy, so she even tried dating women without them knowing that she was also a woman. She said that she thought for sure that she'd do really well in this arena, since she had first-hand knowledge of what women want. She said that she was surprised to find out that she was wrong here as well. What women *say* they want, and what women *actually* want are *two different hings.* For example, they want us to be more emotional and open up? Nope. If you do that, you become less valuable. That's just the way it is. But again, throw her name into Google and read some articles about it, it's a good read.

    • @TheManTheMythD
      @TheManTheMythD Před 2 lety +132

      I actually feel like the dating thing is a little misleading. Like, one lesson you can take from that is that we shouldn't show emotion even if they say they want us to. But I think a more nuanced lesson is that women say they want more emotional guys, but many of them are uncomfortable with guys showing emotion, so it's a kind of weird thing where women who get what they say they want often push guys away because of it. But the key is that women who are really secure and confident, are strong enough to not run from a man showing emotions. "Show me a woman who can hold space for a man in real fear and vulnerability, and I’ll show you a woman who’s learned to embrace her own vulnerability and who doesn’t derive her power or status from that man." -Brene Brown (a shame research sociologist). Basically, pushing men away because they have feelings is the female equivalent of a fuckboy.

    • @wezzy9437
      @wezzy9437 Před 2 lety +139

      I think she also went to a men's retreat thing where she heard some pretty sad confessions from a lot of the men about how they struggle daily and feel as though they just have to shoulder the burden with no support that made her rethink her earlier assessment of men as a whole.

    • @theworstcatholic7247
      @theworstcatholic7247 Před 2 lety +58

      @@TheManTheMythD I mean you can say that, but there's no real proof of that. Unless you think the majority of women aren't secure or confident. However in reality, it's far simpler. Girls are just turned off by it. It's less about fear, and more about a turn off. Girls evolved to be attracted to strong men, men that are in control, if a man isn't even control of his own feelings, how can he be control of anything? That's the simple idea of it. Now most women won't drop and run the first moment you show some vulnerability, however if you overdo it, no matter who the woman is, she will begin to lose respect for you. It's just each woman has their own level tolerance for it.
      Much like men when it comes to women being promiscuous. It's a turn off for almost every guy. Though each guy will have a different tolerance level for it dependent on the individual.
      And let's also be clear, it's less about 'emotions' . Chicks are fine with happiness, anger, curiosity, confidence, ect. It's just sadness, or fear, or signs of vulnerability, those specific emotions that will have a shot of turning them off. Now is this a good thing? Not really. But humans didn't evolve to be perfectly emotionally stable beings otherwise we all wouldn't be so fucked up.
      Best to just assume the woman you date is a normal woman and not one of the rare 1% that wouldn't get turned off by it.

    Sorry to have to say this but... bears eat berries, fish, honey, foxes, wolves, chickens and other birds, cats, dogs, etc. and they eat humans. while bears can and will eat other small animals/humans, that is a last resort.. they wont actively hunt them if there is any alternative... but also if a human wanders into their territory and the bear kills them while defending the territory (not while hunting them) they will still eat them if they need a meal, but most of the time they wont (thats why you are supposed to curl up in a ball and play dead if a brown/grizzly bear comes up to you.. they wont see you as a threat, and they very rarely scavenge for food so unless they are starving they generally wont take a bite)

    When Jeannie said that bears eat berries, I giggled and said, "Bless her little heart". Bears eat meat, they eat wild forest animals, fish, deer, rabbits, humans(although not very often). But they do eat berries as well. Jeannie wouldn't do very well where I live. I am in the middle of the woods, about 6 hours from Henry and Jeannie, and we have a LOT of bears and other wild animals. I was born and raised in the state I am in, and have always lived in the middle of the woods, with hardly any neighbors, and I like it that way.

Maybe it was, all I'm saying is to claim it was entirely beneficial to the American public is wrong. Lots of our young men perished in these countries only for us to eventually lose the war after 20 years and leave Iraq in Taliban control with the added bonus of our weapons and vehicles and a populace that knows they have no hope of protection anymore. I'm not disregarding the good that was done by you and other soldiers in the Coalition forces as well as trained Iraqi and Afghani men. 11:13 This is actually OP. Most games don't have any sort of crosshair for snipers, and for shotguns you sometimes get really large circles that don't help. Knowing the exact center before you scope in lets you pre-aim and quick scope so you don't need to adjust much if at all after you wait for the scope in animation, and if the hipfire accuracy is good enough, it lets you no-scope far more precisely as well. A lot of modern gaming monitors have this as a built in overlay feature, and since it's in the monitor not in software its undetectable by any anti-cheat.

But it's really no more of a "cheat" than owning a good mouse & keyboard, controller with rear paddles, or a fast PC/console that can run the game at 120FPS+.
