I noticed the fashion trend in Japan is more of an emo/animated/gothic look 😊. Japan definitely lives in a fantasy world.
I like how unassuming and innocent you are walking through there 😂 I'm an American living in Tokyo and usually the people who work or frolic there don't like to be recorded. Also, bars and even some restaurants in Shinjuku can be traps where they'll overcharge your bill. The "Japanese only" signs or advisory usually means Japanese people only. Even foreign friends of mine with very fluent Japanese are denied at some bars with the same rules. But there are many options in Tokyo for a good night life where you won't deal with discrimination. Enjoy your stay!

"unassuming" lol...asking the homeless "Toyoko kids" underage girls in Shinjuku what they were selling. Walking into the brothels and filming all the dirty old men. I just assumed it was obvious but maybe I have been in Japan too long. Maybe go to Kabukicho Tower next time and Golden Gai...very touristy. But remember those bars and clubs in Shinjuku will fleece you or you may get drugged and robbed. Nightlife in Shibuya is in the clubs in the Love Hotel district Womb, Atom etc. Roppongi has a whole lot of bars and clubs for foreigners. Not very cool but if you need a "night out" it's easy. There are also a couple of strip clubs with non-Japanese women. And those "soapy" massages usually have a happy ending if your gf doesn't mind then go for it.

I have had the same feeling since I had to leave Thailand in March - I have been dying to go back ever since. I went to all the tourist hotspots and loved it. Chiang Mai, Railay Beach, Koh Phi Phi Island, Phuket and Bangkok. Railay Bay Resort and Spa and The Carlton Hotel Suhkumvit were the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at - I need to go back lol 😂

My first time trying saki, I kept saying this tastes good and this won’t be strong. I had 8-9 of them and I had to be dragged out of the place because I got drunk. I remembered I even said DONT INVITE ME NEXT TIME 😂
Depends on the sake, they can serve chill and hot. You are supposed to pair it with food like the skewer you can order there. There are a variety of sake for different season too. Also wagu, they have different grades like A5, A4 and etc. A4 is the best choice without feeling too full

Just went through my first day in Thailand Pattaya and I have to say this right here is heaven on earth. Love the people here, haven't had such a big smile in years and years until today!!! A piece of information. A reason for them being only Japanese is because they need to protect girls from sexual abuse and there are limitation by the law as well as by each shops. Bring someone who can translate for you, sometimes they may accept you as long as you understand each limitations & follow them, there are plenty of fun stuff that you can never experience out of Japan😂I hope you get to try some bro.

It's not that they are proud, they don't want to deal with the language barrier. Sometimes it's too much trouble and if there was a dispute even more headache for them.

The reason that foreign visitors are not allowed in these Japanese hostess clubs is that foreigners don't understand the inner workings of these clubs which are pretty expensive. Also in Bangkok's areas which cater to Japanese like Sukhumvit Soi 33 and Silom foreigners are not allowed.
Also the language barrier, hostess clubs are about talking to the hosts and if you don't speak Japanese, it defeats the purpose.

24:40 there right there is one of the best 7-11 in terms of fnb selection. try azuka mochi, beer snacks, crackers, shrimp mayo onigiri, 7-11 premium choco milk, matcha ice cream, I can keep on going n going, just go. and the asahi beer, get the cans with yellow stripe the lid open all the way making them drinkable like from a glass. 👍
