You think they don’t know what they are doing? Yet we have investors who have 100 to 1000 shares as if they know how to run a company! I was sensing some made up bull from Mr P, this sounds more likely, if you're employees have some buy in to the company, they will really want the company to succeed, this is an awesome move, and sounds like a win win for employees and the company. Seems Mr P's manufacturing some material out of nowhere, maybe NIO should employ him, he's very productive 🤔

Agreed give options when they share price is raised just like Elon compensation. Not sure with expense of Nio houses, battery swap with all the different batteries, sub brand when can add to nio line up using nio stores. All expenses low ROI. Just burning cash not reducing costs

No amount of years will be enough. The whole business logic is flawed…time will not bring profitability, if the company fails to see what it is doing wrong.
William Li said that NIO won't need as long as Tesla to be profitable. But I doubt it, it will take longer by the Li is going. He will either go bankrupt or dilute NIO until it is worthless before being profitable.

Dilution is expected, but in my opinion they have their strategies sorted. This will obviously take more time, but for those that are patient.. This could pay off, maybe.. Geopolitics & trade policies won't be easy to navigate for NIO.. Opening factories in Europe & the US could get around this..

This is another testament to the fact that NIO can't finance itself from its own operations. Swap stations causing the largest cash burn (apart from new factory which is being built). I am struggling to understand how swap stations will become profit centers. Anyone has any ideas? Also, if this was such innovative idea, curious why others have not adopted it yet? Don't think the deals NIO made with few automakers on swapping will yield volume. Had the BYD joined it would have been a significant milestone.

I'm planning to quit EV industry. They spent money like drinking water. When they have no money, they just issue shares without a concern of existing shareholders. I might come back again when the share price is dropped below $1 or after reverse split.

Nio house in Netherlands 7 story is this a new venture like Nio Hotel ? Nio will not only have problems competing with European brand EV but also with BYD in Europe who are doing a lot of Advertising and even calling it the NR 1 EV in Europe which is exaggerated.

The VERY BIG problem is that NIO wants to do EVERYTHING.......and all at once. Gd forbid they get their house in order first and issue stock when the stock is higher.
Onvo brand expansion..... expansion into more countries all at the same time.... Firefly, that is not compatible with NIO swap stations and so will require a new swap station build out. It's a "damn the expense and press on no matter what" strategy. It'll either be a BIG success... or will not. No in between with NIO.

@@Ana-qn1zk I am very long NIO. Have held for quite a while and was very lucky to sell a lot in the 2021 runup. I now have a larger position than I did then I am a NIO bull.... BUT .... they do not have endless financial resources. I am frankly concerned that they are trying to do too much all at once.

This is hilarious that people even think this a big deal. Virtually every startup/growrh company creates stock/option pools, usually allocating 5% to 10%. A tiny 3% for the value they get in the committed employees is well worth it. Not to mention most stock options awarded over 2021, 2022, and 2023 will mostly be well out of the money, meaning every person who leaves who was hired during that period is actually returning share options to the pool. So this 70mil is well worth it, and won’t dilute since all purchases will be by employees who’ve gone through the vesting period. Whatever. Too many people who don’t know F’ing anything all over the place in social.
