I’m sorry but I still think NIO is one of the best plays. The stock is not the company. They are growing responsibly and are leading in many technological spaces. They started with a premium brand that is leading the EV race in the most competitive EV market. On top of that, they are finally aiming to sell at the mass market with claims to undercut pricing of the competition while still making a profit. Their biggest accomplishment besides their energy movement is that they are still the only company to solve the battery degradation issue while still achieving convenience. At this point in time there is no other solution and on top of that, NIO is being set as the standard in the most Ev adopting economy. I don’t think people realize how big this is. They really don’t. I can provide points after points after points. The stock is taking a hit but so did Amazon if you back early enough. I can’t state how undervalued their design is and that’s only looking at a portion of their business model.

First bought when it was $20 a stock. Watched it go up to $60 then still have at $5 a share. What a horrible ride. Will always regret not selling in Jan 2021.

The fundamentals and perspectives of NIO are very good. The major part of this shortfall is only due to the massive shorts (nakek shorts which is illegal). I have no doubts NIO will raise near 15-20 for the EOY. Current level is absurd

Nio will not go bankrupt. They have a lot of cash on hand, they have been growing earnings year after year.. They are launching new mass market models and they have been partnering with other brands to use and help build more battery swap stations..
Is Bailie Gifford selling their shares? Are Blackrock, Vanguard or Morgan Stanley selling their shares? No..
Remember, share price is not the company..
So, I would be averaging down at these fantastic prices while you can, because in Q3 or Q4, they are gone..
Q1 of 2025, Nio will be profitable.. Don’t be afraid . FOCUS ON WHAT THE COMPANY IS DOING, NOT THE SHARE PRICE.

Buy low sell high. This is definitely a low, especially if everyone is giving up on the stock and there is a negative sentiment around the company. The whole EV market is struggling, but NIO is positioned to come out as a winner in the luxury sector.

I consider NIO to be worth much more and will buy more. It’s still leading the luxury EV market in China. Battery swap, try and sell a 5yr old EV without battery swap. New brands. More partners and good news weekly. I wish I could buy this cheap all the time.

NIO will pick up when the sub brand EV on the road and you will regret if you can’t hold your share now! It is a long term investment which you could be a millionaire.
Don’t hold loser assets, cut your loses and move on to a better/faster moving asset. Hope and Pray isn’t a strategy. A big part in the psychology of investing is people don’t want to sell because they think it will get back up to all time high again. Take emotions out of investing, if your asset has been bleeding for longer than 12-18 months just cut your loses, move your money “loses” in a better asset. You will be so much happier once you do it, and will forget about the loses. If you are going to invest in a specific space (EV’s for example) own the best of that specific asset class. Tesla in this case. Crypto: bitcoin. Etc. Buy the best in each space and 10-15 years later you will be wealthy

I apologize, but NIO remains, in my opinion, one of the best plays. The business is not the stock. They are setting the standard for responsible growth in several technology fields. They began with a luxury brand that is currently atop the most competitive EV market. Additionally, they say they would undercut competitors' prices while maintaining a profit as they finally intend to sell in the mass market. Their primary achievement, aside from spearheading the energy movement, is in their continued leadership as the sole firm to address the problem of battery deterioration while maintaining convenience.

I live in México part-time, and there are over 10 Chinese car brands, ev's, and gas, and I still haven't seen an NIO . Not many Teslas, either.

Nio is brand new and most people knew this is a long term hold 5+years.
EVs are still getting bigger around the world.
As a stock it definitely is suffering because the company is not profitable. But they have over 800 charging stations in China, and may their new mid tier line will be released. Next year they're low level brand will launch. They're burning through so much money. I'm just going to continue holding and buying. Especially with these very low low prices.
I never invested in NIO, so I guess I'd lose nothing by buying a bag of this stock and just leave it for a year or two (A)

If NIO was such a horrible invested then why keep your shares until the end of the year? If you’re right about the “5 dollar a share mark” Then why not just sell and get completely out RIGHT NOW??? Im a bag holder but still believe in this company, i really dont see whats changed from now since xmas when the stock was double. 1st quarter was going to be tough with the new year shut down. Onvo being released later in year and firefly could and should be the catalysts for battery swap. Theres still only under 500,000 vehicles out there so they will be unknown,but the battery swaps are working so proves the concept with 41 million swaps nearly done. Once sub brands come out these numbers will skyrocket and maybe we will still only achieve 3-4000 sales of premium brand but these lower price cars will be the adverts needed to maybe put Nio on the map and thats where the big contracts come in with taki firms and big fleets etc. The worry of not having to fork out for a battery is huge and enough for a regular income family to choose NIO. If you havnt done your homework on Nio you wont understand this. There not selling tons of cars at moment because they are high end but getting compared to li auto and byd that sell cheaper cars. 4th quarter is when this starts to move and NIO themselves need to work on advertisement because thats there major downfall. But guess what sub brand will be the advertisement this needs.

Sadly, no. I'm bag holding on it, but when stocks like this get below $5 it's not good. There's an increasing likelihood of it reverse splitting not once, but multiple times. I might pick up more after it does two reverse splits.

“Potential” doesn’t keep stock prices up. Growing earnings does and Nio has only ever lost $. Doesn’t mean it’s value is 0 but you should buy on a discount NOT after it’s already up 500% like it was in 2020

No reason to hold when you can sell now and set an order to buy it back a little bit over $5. The probability is that you would be much safer to follow that strategy and only have time opportunity to gain.
