I believe that until NIO becomes profitable NIO share will continue to hover in record low levels.
Der schon zweite Auslieferungs Rekord dieses Jahr und in meinen Augen hat es den Aktiekurs nicht bewegen können. Auch heute nicht. Außer Zeekr sind alle NEV zwischen +3% und +8% gestiegen. Völlig unabhängig davon wieviel heute geliefert wurde. Xpeng magere 10k und trotzdem +5% aktuell.
Denke erst ab Q2 und gute Aussichten zu Q3 lässt die Nio Aktie wieder aus eigener Kraft steigen.

I don’t think the path of profitability is clear for Nio yet. Until then we should remain realistic about the stock price.

n the last 4 quarters we had losses of 700 million each quarter.. I'm excited to seethe financials of this quarter we already know NIO has a massive r&d budget they are not willing to cut but i still think that people as we investors underestimate the cost of deploying the swap stations luckily other brands will help build out the swap station network.. but cost wise it's a bit worrying that we now have info that firefly will be unable to use the current swap stations.. my first thought was well that's more cash burn after a while i thought it makes sense, Why you might ask? It's about BYD blade batteries we use catl in our swap stations firefly will use byd batteries.. once we deploy byd battery swap stations we will see more companies join our alliance who already are using byd's batteries.Did you for example know that Mercedes is going to use BYD's blade battery... i don't like the Mercedes rumors but it's just a example.. but also Tesla, Kia, Hyundai, and Toyota use their batteries..BYD also signed a deal to supply batteries for Ford and GM.. So do you guys see the bigger picture?
The target market for Firefly is Europe, where the extent of swap stations is limited anyhow.
@@rc6251 the new blade batteries can be recharged in a few minutes, almost as fast as swapping.
Ask Mr P he will tell you why NIO deliveries are going up. Chinese people are finally understanding battery swap and can see how beneficial it is. These record deliveries are going to continue.

In a recent discussion the CEO said he wanted 100,000 swapping stations. I don't know if that includes the Firefly stations with CATL or not, but in any event, it's clear that they have envisioned a business case for expanding swapping, as you mentioned, in a big way. Thanks for posting your comments about this!👍
Nio is already at there 4th gen swapstation, it would be strange if the newest generations wouldnt be adapted to the future of firefly imo. The first generations were not build with that purpose. But the new ones should get a long with different battery sizes, at least i hope so. This will benefit the density of the network immediately, instead of rolling out a separate network. If you want to be the powerhouse of the future, universality is pretty important no? If you compare it with a gas station, the size of the gastank of the car should not matter, what you need is energy and the more places you can get this without restrictions the better the experience will be.

It also means the swapping tech is NOT being standardized even by NIO. So why would partnership companies adopt it?
Any chance that NIO could manufacture small BS cars for VW in F3 the new firefly factory?
Deliveries are very nice😊 However, to the market this might no longer be all that matters. Anyone can boost their sales whilst increasing their losses. Once Nio can prove that losses are - despite all the competition - finally narrowing, the stock will really get moving. Also, it would mitigate the (justified) concerns about another, potentially catastrophic, round of dilution.
2Q: is the CATL battery swap stations working? And, are NIOs battery swap land is rented or owned by the company? Tks!

Despite I see the possibility of EVOGO play, talking speculation I'd feel more inclined to think NIO would choose Aulton Battery swap network (2nd leader in Swap station network #). Beside, considering that NIO Capital has invested in Aulton since a couple of years already, Is also logical to think they would be working together, same as with Innovusion, ClearMotion and many others investment.
Aulton is for B2B.

@@DONGXiiTheChinaOpportunity In the website there is a clear distinction of commercial and passenger cars, even in the swapping time. Which lead me to think taxis are commercial vehicles. Also, all the cars showed in the site, are not taxis 😉
Moreover, their mission is: "Free every electric vehicle from charging troubles, Maximize every battery’s value by sharing". doesn't look comercial only to me.
I don't see this happening, as EVOGO is direct competitor to NIO Power and even if NIO buys EVOGO, still is bad news and confirm that NIO swap tech design was flawed, since they hadn't considered Firefly when building the swap stations, technically thinking I don't see why Firefly can't use existing swap technology the battery screws would be at different locations i.e. large battery would be rectangle and small ones might be square...there might be private (only NIO) and public (ONVO, Firefly & third party) swap stations but having completely different battery swapping tech is crazy...
The number of swap stations in China seems to be stuck around 2,450. Does anyone have any information as to when Nio will start ramping up with station installation?
