Kirsty has been battling for months now trying to learn how to drop off, today we're at Hadleigh park just to learn this one essential skill.
Full disclaimer! I am not a professional, still very much a beginner myself but I can drop off really well and I wanted to pass this skill on to Kirsty.
Kirsty was able to learn from my advice so maybe you can too.
We was over there for a good 3 hours just riding the drop offs until she nailed it which is actually pretty quick to be fair.

I prefer drops over jumps any day great video.
I like both, dropping is certainly an important skill to have in the bag, it’s got me out of trouble so many times when running in to a drop on a blind trail run

as she compresses she needs to really shift the weight back towards the rear wheel this will lighten the front end
Drop offs are great for street once you’re good
Definitely a good skill to learn in case you come across a drop on a trail unexpectedly

Thanks, I’m not sure that I’m that good, I struggle to articulate what I mean sometimes but on this occasion it worked and Kirsty can do drop offs really well now. I hope this video helped you as well
