Beware the vibration from the bike through the solid mounted cell phone holder. This can cause damage to cell phone camera(s). Some sort of damping mechanism will alleviate or reduce the likelihood of camera failure. Quadlock realized this and has begun offering a damping mechanism to mount between the bike and the actual cell phone holder. For your consideration. I enjoy your videos and thank you for posting.

Thanks! The cellphone holder has little rubber pads at the corners and at the base plate, and I am also using the original Apple silicone case, all help on dampening the vibrations. I have tried multiple cellphone holders, and by far, this one is the best I have come across.

More expensive than barkbusters AND they add a lot of extra weight. Barkbusters add only 175 grams over the original bar weights and guards

They look really strong but I am not sure how an impact would affect the handlebar mount area.

Like the principle of it however it needs to clamp to bar. I don't think my mirrors would work with those.

I saw some video saying that this ones are not powerful enough even at the higher setting, that you can barely feel it through the gloves... what's your opinion?

The Yamaha Heated Grips I mounted are very warm! When it is 5 °C/40 °F outside - I use the middle of 3 settings.
When installing the grips, the heat settings can be programmed for different heat outputs for the warmest settings - the reason being is if the grips are mounted on a smaller displacement motorcycle with a smaller alternator generating less wattage. I programmed my grips for the middle heat setting - in other words - no problem riding in even colder weather!

@@orbsurfer8195 thanks for your answer. If I understand correctly you can program it on 3 different settings and in each setting you have 3 level of adjustment. Am I correct?

@@lucaraimondo5967The first setting is just when installing the grips - there is a low (18 watts), medium (20 watts) and high (22 watts) programmable output on the highest setting - and then when daily using the grips there are three levels - low - 1 greeen LED - 8 watts, medium 2 green LEDs - 15 watts and high - 3 green LEDs - 22 watts. A little confusing! 🙂 My experience with the grips are very good!
