Nice way to present all the different product lines quickly as you did with skid plates!

Very useful compendium! It would be nice to know the weight of each crash bar,
but I guess that can be found at the makers' websites.

Excellent just like your skid plate video. I have to open many windows on my browser to see all the samples you showed. Thank you very well done.

I highly recommend "crash" bars (aka fairing protectors/engine guards) for Yamaha's big Tenere 700. Due yo it's weight and how it carries that weight up high,
it is not a question of if but when will it fall/crash and also how many times.

We've real world tested the genuine Yamaha crash bars in a pretty nasty crash on our channel, and they did the job perfectly!

I got lucky and found an aftermarket Pannier rack compatible with Yamaha's OEM Rear Carrier rack, Camel adv Auxiliary tank & High Exhaust.
Now I'm looking for Upper crash bars compatible with Yamaha's OEM Engine Guard.

I think altrider look most protective, 1 inch dia.& stainless. Nice video makes it easier to compare.

R&G top bars only fit earlier 700's as I've found the right top bar, lower bracket fowls the Lambda sensor and cat heatshield on my 22 reg. The left top bars fit fine. The lower bar set also dont align with the palms where they join the top set too on the later models. Going to mod these and fabricate to suit.

Very nice to see so many different styles of crash bars in one video.
Outback motortek have crash video, seems to held really well.
If you have to pick combined crash bar, which one will you choose? Or can you recommend one please.
    Thanks, appreciate your input.
    Happy & safe riding

The Heed Bunker Crash Bar is high on my list. It follows the lines of the panels and graphic nicely, and the crash bar seems to be well made. I have no experience with Heed, so I do not really know. I know without a doubt that the original Yamaha Crash Bar is very well made, all the Yamaha parts I have installed are Top Rate Quality! But, the Yamaha bars does not follow the lines of the bike well... I am just too picky! :-)
I have the Touratech Upper Crash Bar installed on my own Yamaha Ténéré 700, and I have to say that the Touratech crash bar is obviously manufactured by people who are living in a perpetual October Fest, i.e. totally lacking quality control! I am just shaking my head in bewilderment when it comes to Touratech... Hopefully they will sober up one day! :-)
      Good Luck on your choice!
