I have the 2004 Yamaha Warrior 1000cc and I love it. Really heavy sled but when its tuned correctly it does its job.
I just got my first snowmobile a 2005 Yamaha RS venture with the 1000cc triple, it only has 614 miles I got it for 500 bucks it's basically brand new but it was sitting for eight years so it needed some work. Hoping we get some good snow this season so I can rip it

i have an older one that hits like 70 i cant imagine one that fast awesome. Mine is like 500cc your is twice mine lol. I love riding mine but it is hard to since i live in Va. which we really dont get much snow, love your videos....Semper Fi
It's a nice trail sled, if you ever get the chance to try to ride off trail or in the backcountry you should. Mine always puts a smile on my face :)

It looks like you have an apex skid in the snowmobile. Not sure why anyone would replace the 2005 rx1 skid with an apex skid because they are essentially the same except for the skid frame.

This rider builds 2000 HP Camaro's and Vetts. He's new to the sport....bet he has a nasty turbo on that sled by next year. He's a super nice guy.

Expect a Polaris. The 850's are already blowing up like a chubby kid in freshman year.
Eh except for the Arctic Cat 800s, 1100 Turbos, and the Yamaha/Arctic Cat 998 Turbos. So yeah basically every other engine in it's HP class competes just fine against the Etecs.
Skidoo 800 or 850 lol got a turbo 162 nytro Good night to skidoo stone age Engine on the skidoo yes yamaha is heavy mobile but when it have turbo its no problem for me to drive it. im not week so i dont need a 2 stroke btw dont forget to collect the pistons from the 800 850 skidoo ;)

...funny, I live in eastern Ontario and I go out on mine all the time! It's exactly the same as this machine, right down to the graphics! And what I see, now that the 1000 cc Genesis engine has been out there for 15 years, are RX1's with 20,000 + k on them...Know what I don't see? Anything 2 stroke with 20,000 + k, because you can only rebuild them so many times...
You need to look into ice oval racing. ALL the machines in the top classes run 30+ year old engines.

Not enough snow but that’s a lot of power
Not by today's standards of 180 hp turbos but back then yes that was top end horsepower numbers and only the 1000 cc 2 stroke twins had more at 175 hp in the 1000 cc twin MachZ and Cat's 1000 cc twin. RX-1's were 140 hp like the 800HO's but less than the 800R's 150 hp. Now not turbo 850 2 stroke twins are 165 hp and way lighter but nothing beats the sound and smoothness of the RX-1/Apex sleds (Apex was 150 hp at least in some years and maybe even 160 hp with EXUP near the end but not sure about that).
Run the thundercat 1000 triple it will spack the and it's fun as hell faster the better lol

I own one a turbot model and have had it over 140 miles per hr. It got chisels from hell and is some kinda evil. I'll never sell it. Absolutely a beast
I didn't have to watch the video but saw him say this one goes 130-140 mph but assumed it was stock. Maybe it's turbo so will watch later as stock they only go maybe 110-115 I'm pretty sure.
