I recently rededicated my life to Christ and I didn't use the sinners prayer. I feel better now than I did before. A weight lifted off me.
I wonder just how many people who were present that day... have passed on. If the gospel is true, then the anchor will hold. If it isn't, there's nothing to hold onto at all!

Assessing our faith: Beloved is there joy in your heart? Can there be joy in the spirit of antichrist? "Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy." (Proverbs12:20) Satan is sifting the hearts of Christians but we have a powerful and miraculous Advocate (Attorney at law), Jesus. It is written, "My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:" (1John 2:1) "And Jesus said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:" (To separate the faithful from the unbeliever. Luke 22:31) But NOTHING can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38, 39) We (Believers) are so blessed in the Godhead of Father, Son and Holy Spirit!!! "For in Jesus Messiah dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:9) When an unbeliever asks us questions about our faith, they seek either a sign or wisdom. Always remember, to answer them in what you know as truth in God's Word or keep silent (in your innocence). Innocence is the language approved of God and accepted by man. Has anyone asked you reason (explanation) for the joy held in your faith? When giving testimony be a faithful witness (purified from sin) for it is written, "sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear." (1Peter 3:15) Serve the Lord with gladness. For this reason are we (believers) born again into this world and given the hallowed things of the Lord for an offering by reason of Jesus' anointing that we should bear witness unto the truth. Testify to the "good news": promises of God through Jesus Messiah. Lean not on your own understanding but "stay upon the (rod and staff) of the Word of God; especially when the lights go out." (Adrian Rogers from Psalm 23) Because we live in a fallen world, darkness will come upon everyone at any time! For it is written, "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all." (Ecclesiastes 9:11) Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John the Baptist, "What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. (But now Father God has gotten very personal with mankind, speaking to us through His only begotten Son; in new birth through baptism of Holy Spirit by the grace of Jesus' sacrifice; our Creator wants an intimate and personal relationship with us as with a spouse; please embrace that love that passes all understanding and thru all tribulation in this life and world) "And if ye will receive it (dear elect ones, Jewish family), this is Elias, which was for to come." (Mathew 11:7-14) After losing our beautiful daughter to suicide, my favorite scripture passage is 1 John 4:18 - "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out all fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love." Biblical Job needed this scripture passage so badly but the Word of God had not yet become flesh. Job lived in fear of losing his daily sacrifice, children, his health or possibly all of the above. How do I know this? Because of Job's own words: Job 3:25 - "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." If we submit all to Father God our Creator, He is faithful to make us perfect through His perfect love in Messiah Jesus. Submitting to God is resisting that old Devil. James 4:7 - "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." God knows our every need! He does not tempt but allows temptation. "For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives." (Hebrews 12:6) This is what Jesus meant when He said, "Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Mathew 5:48) Search the scriptures, Jesus always puts special emphasis on perfection (His Ten Commandments) saying, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." (Luke 10:27) "And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it." (2John 1:6) Never showing partiality to any of His commands. "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Mathew 5:18) And "God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation." (Genesis 2:3) We, Believers, are to dress this temple (our bodies and this world in righteousness and keep it holy! (Genesis 2:15) Do you want great peace and faith? "Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them." (Psalm 119:165) The Apostle Paul says of church laity: "Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience." (1Timothy 3:9) These are those found innocent by the Holy Spirit of willful sin against God and fellow man. Once I was lost in a forest and night had fallen. I found myself in the middle of a brier thicket, not knowing the route that would take me home. Each decision and new direction only took me further into the thicket. For hours, sporting torn clothes and bleeding flesh, I wandered hopelessly and helplessly through thorns and the cold black of night. Momentary loss of direction can be frightening but the loss of all hope is not only terrifying but debilitating. Though there seemed to be no hope, I knew that the sun would come up the next morning and give me light and direction home. Are you lost in the thicket of life, bleeding from the physical, spiritual and emotional wounds caused by terrible choices? It is written, “Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city-until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high.” (Isaiah 27:13) Dear reader, I testify to you today that Jesus Messiah is the morning sun, Spirit of grace promised from on high and the direction home to our loving heavenly Father. Do not be afraid when darkness falls. This global warming of sin which we are experiencing will bring catastrophe (holocaust) to this world and evil men but “all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mathew 19:26) It is written, “Love not the world neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and pride of life is not of the Father, but of the world.” (1John 2:16) Do not be fooled but faithfull (innocent) witnesses of Jesus in these last hours. For this reason were we born again into this world and given the hallowed things of the Lord for an offering by reason of the anointing. Let's not join that spirit of antichrist which is forming this new world order, "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." (Revelation 17:5) Antichrist (the man of sin, and son of perdition) will soon come as Deceiver seeking to replace Jesus Christ, the one true living God. It is written, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." (2John 1:7) Dear reader, are we (mankind) ready for Father God our Creator's new world order? It is written from beginning to end in eternity and now we await only His time!
Actually, every form of philosophy----including believing really hard----is not Scriptural.
Having faith is not something willed.
Faith is actually not being able to unsee and unhear the good situation and reality that God has designed and performs from first-faith on.
We don't need faith to taste apple pie, but take it for granted. Facts are rested in. REST is the word.

I listened for hours to you reading the verses of your book, which you believed to be me. Of course, you are wrong, but my question is more important.
Your book is more reliable or the judges.
Do you believe in your book?
Other religions find an opinion for a verse from their book that is right. Either you don't have an opinion on the book. Or you are lying. I am surprised and I will not judge. I will let the honorable judges who judge me answer my question themselves

Repent while you have a chance. Accept Jesus as your Lord and savior...... I know most will mock, but this is why the Bible said
Ecclesiastes 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
For the fool says there is no God. The byproduct is that same fool returning to his folly, as a Dog to its vomit........
I disagree that God "brings conflict". That idea is not supported by anything in God's Word. In fact, the Bible is clear that chaos, sin, and sadness are a result of mankind's own choices and Satan's influence. God may allow sin to occur, but only in the sense that this period of time is a short blip and then we will be in God's New Heaven.
"But each one is tempted when by his own evil desires he is lured away and enticed"- James 1:14

@@gregoryflorence8571 again God allows evil to happen, even to good people, but people are responsible for their own choices when they are tempted by their own desires. "The flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary to each other; so that you cannot do what you would", Galatians 5:17
Why have faith when you have testable, repeatable, facts that don't require faith.
