- Adrian Rogers: No Other Way to Heaven Except Through Jesus (1965)
Scripture Passage: Romans 1:16-22
Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Therefore, we know God is righteous, and there is no other way to Heaven except through Jesus. Romans 1:16-22 offers four factors to help us better understand this truth.
The Revelation Factor: all men have some light.
God created us to serve and know Him. There are two witnesses all people have; one is the outward, objective witness called creation. The other is the inward, subjective witness called conscience.
The Refusal Factor: light refused increases darkness.
Adrian Rogers says, “The opposite of truth is not error; it is sin.” When creation and conscience speak to us, and we continue to refuse God, we regress. We lose even the little light we have; our foolish hearts are darkened. Romans 1:18 says, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness." In this context, the word "suppress" means to resist the truth; not in error, but in unrighteousness. Because belief in God leads to an entire life change, unbelief is the baggage that comes with disobedience.
The Reception Factor: light obeyed increases light.
Romans 1:16-17 says, “...for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith.” The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. When we receive and believe the truth, we will be given more truth. When we surrender our will, God will speak to us; we can begin by obeying Scripture we understand.
The Reckoning Factor: God will judge us by the light we’ve rejected.
Many of us are fortunate to have immediate, easy access to the Bible. God will hold us accountable for this, more so than the person who’s never heard. This should encourage us to take advantage of the light we’ve been given, lest we lose it.
Apply it to your life
All men have some light; light refused increases darkness, and light obeyed increases light. Men are judged according to the light that they have. Knowing what you know, take advantage of the Scriptures available to you, and share it with others.

@@ninajaya8490 How one views Christmas will effect ones conscience about the holiday - mine is clear. I celebrate the birth of the Lord and Savior according to the word of God. I understand Christmas is not listed as a holiday in the bible, nor is it likely Jesus was even born in the month we call December.
However, it is such a great time of year to share the gift of giving as many people are open to talking about our Lord. Do not let the witness opportunity pass by, but rather embrace it!

In the Bible you will find by comparing Rev. 22:16 with Rev. 22:6-9 that Jesus sent HIS HOLY PROPHET, who has SEEN GOD CLEARLY, FACE TO FACE IN HEAVEN, calling Jesus, LORD GOD of the Holy Prophets!

Repent while you have a chance. Accept Jesus as your Lord and savior...... I know most will mock, but this is why the Bible said

Adam and Eve know who God is, and the Lord God gave them the Commandments not to do such things, but that they disobedient the word of God, they became foolish and sinful lust to one another, then sins beginning to enter into them, and passed on unto everyone and every generation, everyone kneweth God, but denied who he is, because of the pleasure sins of the devil, the serpent deceived them, and they became a poison and many tricks of the devil.
You do understand Jesus can not get you into heaven correct. Little thing called the Book Of Life and ONLY GOD can write your name in that book. Jesus said, in the New Testament the he can remove your name from the book ONLY. Yeah that don't work, he does not over ride God in any way shape or form. He doesn't judge you. How can one think in any way that the unconditional love of God is less than a dogs for you.
The first written word of "Jesus" was from a Greek Scribe dated 100 AD. That's a hundred years after the fact. And it was in Greek. Jesus, nor his disciples spoke Greek. So your talking a scribe, traveling the area around 100 ad hearing stories about a man named Jesus. Oh my great great grandpa was there when he raised a man from the dead.... really..?
The old testament is the Torah and was recorded AT THE TIME THINGS HAPPENED.
The New Testament was written from a variety of Greek Scrolls, from traveling scribes that started to be translated between 400 ad 600 ad. This is fact.
The first and only Roman account about a man named Jesus was written by a Roman philosopher who "saw" the Roman Scroll regarding him. He wrote it 60 years after the fact. There is NO OTHER RECORD of Jesus except stories passed down over a 100 - 400 year period. NOT ONE GREEK SCRIBE WROTE THE SAME STORY. Funny thing he called Jesus "Christ" He was not called the "Christ" until much later. He was JEWISH he was called the Messiah.
Not one Apostle wrote the books in the New Testament. NOT ONE. Matthew did not write Matthew, John did not write John, A man named Mark wrote Mark, all from stories passed down over hundreds of years.
Jesus IS NOT GOD.
Jesus never changed Gods laws. He endorsed them.
If he was the "Christ" why does he have to come back? What Rome was doing at the time wasn't enough?

That man may have run out of options. We don’t know how that man met Adrian Rogers, or the nature of their conversation. However it happened, that is how God works. It was a divine appointment, of which God aligned. God bless!
