Gw2 | Qadim the Peerless CM | Advanced Fires | Power Scrapper

We're doing a variant of advanced fires in order to cover all anomaly paths with as few fires as possible. We therefore put every 2nd symbol a bit closer to the boss (on one of the white squares on the ground pattern). We also make sure to cover the southern anomaly spawn between 80% and 60% by swapping the order of the south-eastern pylon's fires. With these fires, the dps players can ignore almost all anomalies; they only need to take care of anomalies that the anomaly-cc-duty-player missed which can mostly happen during the cm-safespot-mechanic.
In the past 20%, 2 of our kiters bait the bad shackles and stand ranged next to the tank. That way, we keep the Sapping Surge debuff (reduces outgoing damage by 25%) out of the stack and (almost) only on the tank and kiters. In unorganized groups, the bad shackles affect up to 9 players since they spread from their main target to close players (3 shackles, up to 3 targets per shackle) slowing down the final 20% drastically.
Power Scrapper is a pretty easy class to play decently. It doesn't have a strict rotation but only 2 skills to use off cooldown and a priority list of filler skills to use in between. Mastery of this isn't easy though, and I'm not even close, but my dps is still fine.
Thanks to the Scrapper minor trait "Impact Savant" Scrapper converts 5% of its damage into barrier, and thanks to the Explosives Grandmaster trait "Big Boomer" it heals itself after hitting with an Explosion skill. As an engineer, Scrapper also has access to A.E.D. which can be used to prevent the next lethal hit. On Hammer#4, Scrapper also has access to a channeled block. All of this makes Scrapper pretty tanky, too.
Hammer#4 can be used as a back-up knockback protection for the cm-safespot-mechanic (see 3:25, 4:14).
The utility skill Throw Mine removes boons which is especially great in the final 20% of Qadim the Peerless where he applies boons to himself non-stop.
