  • Thanks to the Quickness Herald in my subgroup, I don't have to bring Spirits for boons. Instead, I take Guard for Minister Li's knockback & spread, and Search and Rescue for emergencies. Only drop spirits if you know that their boons will still be covered!
I am responsible to provide stability for Minister Li's knockbacks via Glyph of Equality. If a player gets downed before the knock, their stability gets stripped & they die. Therefore, it is important that everyone has protection as well. Thanks to the Druid master trait Verdant Etching my glyphs also provide protection, so one Glyph of Equality cast takes care of both stability & protection. In addition, I cast Guard to further minimize the damage my group takes. Even though in phase 1 all knockbacks can be avoided it's best to just always provide stability here as well (see 0:06, 0:50). In the 2nd & 3rd Minister Li phase I also make sure to grab one of the big AoEs & move out of the stack (see 3:31, 3:56, 7:48).
In the trio phase, I tank the Enforcer. The player closest to the Enforcer is chosen as tank when he spawns, after his spin, & after his big AoEs. Since I have access to stability anyway, I also cast my glyph for the Enforcer's taunt before his spin attack (see 1:45, 2:56).
Usually, the Mindblade is pulled to the edge & out of range of the Enforcer since they have to be separated to not empower each other. However, since this wasn't the case this time, I pulled the Enforcer away from the group after grabbing tank the 2nd time (see 1:54).
In this phase, I focus on keeping up Alacrity on my subgroup via CA#1, #2, & #3, & let it drop on me. The Herald makes up for the missing Might in addition to the Virtuosos & the Specter granting themselves some Might too.
In the duo phase, I am responsible to solo kite the Sniper's ricochet so I cannot tank the Mech & our Quickness Herald tanks instead. Since the DPS on the Sniper is too high most of the times anyway, players in the Herald's sub can move closer to the Mech & therefore still receive the Herald's boons.
In order to kite the Sniper's ricochet, I put a symbol on her to make it easier to see where she ported to. If you cannot mark the Sniper, you can target her via the event UI in the top right corner & then set a group target which will ping the Sniper's location on the minimap. As the mini map ping only works if the target is newly set, target the Mech before the next time you need it on the Sniper.
As soon as the Sniper ports away for Ricochet, I follow her & stand at the edge of the arena closest to her perch. If I'm the first target, I have to heal myself after the first shot, otherwise I just wait 10s for her to choose me as target for the second shot. I then immediately follow her to her second tower as this is where she chooses the target for her third shot. If she ports over triangle before selecting a target for her last shot, I have to use Staff#3 to follow her.
The Sniper's shots deal roughly 7k dmg to me, so I don't bother to use Guard here & keep it for if things get chaotic. Since this didn't happen, I ended up not using it in this phase at all though.
Usually, we have a healer tank so I only have to move close to the Sniper after she teleported away which is what I did at the first ricochet (see 5:00). However, since our Mech tank was in fact not a healer, I remembered to move early for the 2nd ricochet & position myself behind the tank so that the first shot is either on me or on someone on the stack & the tank is not at risk of getting downed from the first shot (see 6:10).
One of our Specters solo breaks the Sniper's breakbar so the rest of the squad can stay at the Mech.

Disclaimer: Only drop spirits if you know their boons will still be covered! Both Monk (Core) or Karakosa (SotO) relic are fine; keep in mind that you need to successfully combo your blast finishers for Karakosa though which requires a squad composition with lots of combo fields or adjustments in your gameplay, making Monk the all-rounder pick. If you don't own SotO for Mace, take an Axe instead - you trade some protection, regeneration, and vigor sources, cc, and healing for potentially unique conditions, range, and faster CA generation. The infusion isn't strictly needed; without it you lose 5 concentration = 0.33% boon duration.

Very well explained all the encounter. One of the reasons i didnt play dudu is cause of the lack of stab and prot, but with glyph of equity that is solved, can't wait to try it out!

It's basically just a different strategy, that IMO, assuming everyone knows how the strategy works and acts accordingly, is better than duo kite. However, getting people to act accordingly can be hard - though duo kite has similar problems.
With solo kite, the 2nd healer can tank the Mech while still providing their boons from range. That way you don't have a dps with basically no boons away from the stack, increasing squad dps. As soon as the Sniper ports away, the player with the first shot has to react properly and go to triangle (to the zipline closest to Minister Li's platform), and everyone else (except for tank+kiter) has to stack on the opposite site of where the Sniper ported to; we usually make sure our commander does that and everyone can just follow. However, sometimes it seems to be very hard for people to stack on tag or go to triangle if targeted like they should.
With duo kite, you need that dps tank who will barely have any boons. Additionally, the group has to stack at a safe space (next to the zipline closest to Minister Li's platform) and also be there before the Sniper even ports away, so that they will never get any shots and both Kiters will actually be able to handle all 3 shots. This is something that pugs don't do properly though, and oftentimes people end up too close to one of the Kiters and get killed by Ricochet - so, we basically have the same problem as above (not positioning properly), plus the need to know when the attack will happen before it actually happens.
Since both strategies need the stack to position properly and will probably fail / produce some collateral damage if done wrong, IMO it's better to pick the strategy that increases squad dps and therefore shortens the fight and potential for mistakes -> solo kite
