Michael, I'm an Indian and today (Sept 5th) we celebrate Teachers Day in our country.. You are my Teacher.. So, HAPPY TEACHERS DAY DEAR MICHAEL !! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I remember watching your videos when I was a complete newbie to music production. Now I have improved a lot. Thanks Buddy, you are a really great guy for giving out these tutorials for free
hey man, I watched this channel when I had 0 videos and now i have a music badge, the information you give for free is amazing you are the best teacher I have had. thanks for everything just wantef to show some appreciation for these amazing videos
Give this man a round of applause cause I bet he processes his speakin during the tutorial in every single video and there has been like thousands of videos I guess! U r the best teacher! When I started learning about fl studio , u were the first person whose video i saw and trust me after that I have seen every single video of urs from Day 1 now just a few more left to watch! Thank u so much!
Anyone who's not yet subscribed to this channel is really missing a lot.Just came from watching the tutorial and felt I got the knowledge of a lifetime. Thanks INTHEMIX for what you do for the new producers like me.
I could really just listen to you for the entire day Michael, Not only because of the amazing amounts of information you give out but also the way you speak, You are so polite it makes all the information that much more interesting to listen to!! Thanks for giving out so much knowledge Michael! Much Love to you.
When you said to pay attention to the mouth clicks and slight whistling in the "S"s, I couldn't unhear them anymore. You might have just triggered a new section of my brain to pick up these things. I feel more perverse with sound than ever before now. LOL But real talk, thanks for showing us such an awesome tool. I might just pick up RX8 and play with it once I get back to work.
I've been learning and producing for years by myself and looking for the best tutorials out there. As an FL Studio user, I ensure your channel has one of the best content I've ever seen 🙏 Thanks for this new one!
14:52 My eyes literally lit up, I didn't expect that whistle to be reduced THAT much from just that simple fix. Honestly, that whole lasso/box select thing for a spectrum view is something I've never seen before at all, that's such a powerful tool omfg. I bet there's a million different ways you can manipulate this software to *generate* completely novel sounds... What a crazy piece of kit, jesus christ.
We Indians today celebrate Teacher's day. So I just wanted to wish you a very happy Teacher's day. Thank you for your such efforts to make us learn everything. Thank you so much Sir. Keep inspiring..❤️
I currently use izotope vocalsynth 2 and I really like it alot. This program is alot like the scrub section of Edison in FL Studio. Thank you very much for this. I'm definitely going to want this program.
Good timing on this! I like the "light" voice you're employing here, Michael. Very personal effect for rapport with us. Great tutorial, great EXAMPLES. Thank you.
Brother you are awesome! I can't thank you enough for your dedication, encouragement, and guidance. My production, workflow, and professionalism have improved 10x and I don't even slam my face into the wall when Windows crashes anymore😂. I was just wondering if you had any videos of outtakes, bloopers, or system errors? Or maybe talking about your best/worst experiences as an expert? (nothing personal or private, respectfully)
RX 8 has so many new features it actually runs pretty well from the trial. I was asking them on Twitter if they were going to be adding a split stem feature I know I wasn't the only one lol they ended up putting it in so awesome. I really wish they would sell some of these features by themselves like spectral repair and deconstruct.
I'm using the de wind feature on a weekly basis when editing outdoor go pro footage. It turns it from just awful to totally useable audio :) Ideally I would have used a proper microphone and a windshield/deadcat but that's not always possible.
BROTHER I JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE REALLY DOING A GREAT JOB. 👏🙂 You're always so calm, and you're truely very humble about your talent. I'm also an artist (MAFIA) Learned a lot from you. Love from INDIA🇮🇳 Blessings. 💐
Another great video! I dont comment that often but I really have to say: The content is amazing and you are such a kind person This channel is incredible
Forget about the giveaway, But what these guys is doing by making such an awesome tutorials is like the biggest reward for me. 🤓 A big thanks all those including Michael for teaching me how to produce during quarantine. It's a dream come true. ✨
Great video. I‘m quite familiar with there mixing and mastering plug-ins but never looked into there other software such as RX. Looks great and really easy to use.
*Wow I'm really impressed of what RX8 can do, fantastic! And you Michael you're doing a great job again! I've watched so many presentations and tutorial videos about RX and you're the first to show off how good it really is, in your typical fast & easy way.. Thanks for that 😊 💙💚💛*
HAHA ALWAYS the BOOM GUY! (I have been on set as a boom guy for 30 yrs+) Love your vids. I really wish you had gone a little further in each example in this one or at least picked 2 or more examples of noise repair menu-choices or strategies and taken them all further. I have only recently become aware of Izotope and I am very interested in some of their products now. Your videos often let people see exactly how useful a piece of software really might be before spending hard-earned money on it. Thank you. In particular i feel you could have pursued the wind noise and mic bump examples a little further to show just how far an obsessive approach can go to salvaging something other-wise unusable. The mic bumps left a weirder sound after the low end removal ...let's see a stab at removing THAT and then judge the success or fail of the attempt AFTER a potential fail. Similar with the de-wind example, you abandoned the job just as it was beginning to become clean enough to be acceptable. But since there are many more tools that you could have thrown at it why not just do that? Audition the results, terrible, weird, artificial or not or maybe BE obsessive and show how that does (or does not) pay off. I realize you want the videos not to be too long and I gather you have many to make with numerous topics but so I cannot blame you for brevity. You whetted my appetite so thoroughly here I was bound to be yearning for more. And I had to whine about how it is ALWAYS the boom guy (incompetent boob! Doesn't he see that the mic is in frame or know he bumped it? What? was he busy avoiding camera, shadows, equipment in a windy, wet, noisy, location and trying to remember all the dialogue from multiple temperamental high-paid impatient performers and he DARED to bump the mic against something or let wind hit it???!!) Love your stuff, keep up the awesome job of making videos which I believe I have now seen all of in the space of a few months. OH, and I could not help noticing the whistle in your words at the end of your video right after the de-whistling example. Can RX 8 perform its tasks in a pseudo "realtime" mode (minor latency)? As someone involved endlessly in recordings that might benefit from parallel realtime(ish) de-noising confidence track being recorded I would like to know. Cheers
Thanks Craig. I didn't mean to have a stab at the boom operator! In fact most of the time they are the unsung heros of a set (I saw them working on the 1917 movie and was amazed!) You're right about keeping the video brief, I really wanted to open peoples eyes to what was possible without becoming overly technical or offputting. It's a balance that I try to strike in each video and maybe at times here I was on the side of too brief. I don't think there is a realtime detection for the whistles unfortunately, the irony of this video is that I am recording in an awful and noisy location and trying my best to keep it clean. I hear you and I'm taking it into account :) Michael
@@inthemix I am not so tender that being used as an example could really be taken as a 'stab'. I just had to laugh because boom is a very visible category so an easy target. I envy your being present at the 1917 movie. Please understand I really appreciate your videos and they have been very helpful as I only recently during the lockdown have taken to learning FL Studio and other DAWs. You inspired me to dust of my old DX7 and repair it (soldering!) to use it as a MIDI controller again.
@@craigbaker6382 I understand, sorry I want to clarify - I wasn't actually there! I wish I was, I studied lots of footage from the production and saw how it came together!
