It would be awesome if that chord thingy had an appregator build in, and not having to place chords first then appregate with the current appregator tool or to have an arp in the music bank. I follow my melody easier when i play my chords arpeggios.

Should I stick a low-pass filter on everything? Do I need to worry about phase? Maybe an FL Studio template where every mixer track’s first plugin is a highpass filter to cut 20Hz and below.

Music theory doesn't have much to do, good or bad, with creativity. It's simply a very good and efficient way to communicate musical ideas to other musicians who also know at least some theory. If you're communicating with a (really good) musician who doesn't know any theory, no matter. Communicating about the song/music will just be slower and less efficient than it could be. But it has nothing to do with creativity, which is completely different.

For example, let’s say you have five -18 tracks and you put it into one bus and the bus starts clipping… what should you do? a) add a limiter / Balance plugin to the bus b) lower the bus fader c) lower the individual faders Thanks in advance.

Great informative video. At 2:22 you mention True Peak in conjunction with the term "Ceiling". Thus, is this the same as what Apple refers to as "Out Ceiling" in Logic's Adaptive Limiter? Secondly, in many mastering videos, I am seeing the Out Ceiling set to -0.3 dB, rather than -1.0 that you are recommending. As of 2024, are you still recommending this number? I realize recommendations can change over time as we are seeing with the LUFS for various genres of music.

I recently switched from FL Studio to Ableton Live after using FL for 7 years. While I appreciate the lifetime updates from Image Line, FL crashing became a major frustration for me. Ableton has been much more stable, and I'm really enjoying the workflow.

If you're going for a target of -14 LUFS, then why do you consider -9.4 LUFS integrated to be acceptable ("decently loud")? Won't the various services give you problems if you're over the threshold by that much?

Is there, perhaps even through SPAN or some other tool, the possibility of being informed directly by the tool itself (maybe through a report or something like that) of which tracks of a song overlap in a given frequency spectrum, so that I can act initially at the level of overlapping tracks, and then at a more general level? I don't think I explained myself very well, but perhaps you can still understand :))) Thanks in advance.
