Wow! What a surprise! Just two robots down the line from the i7! My suggestion for tomorrow’s video is to have the i7 and the 960 battle(without the self-emptying base) to pick up skittles and the cinnamon imperials

I think the bin output a difference voltage rating between the i7 and e5
@@RobotMasters u can try it with voltmeter, but if e5 can search i7+'s base, i mean it is the same. By the way all Roombas has the same charging power. 22.2v dc, 1,5 amp.
@@RobotMasters and both roombas has the same battery. Li-ion green brick pack. And another question, does Roomba 960 has li-ion battery ot it still have the older Ni-mh Xlife?

RoboVacCollector yes, 600, 800, and 900 series and later uses lithium ion battery. However, they might not all have the same voltage.

I just got my roomba s9 and didn’t work! It kept saying to tap the bumper and press clean, but nothing happens. It’s going back to the store
john doe Sounds like you got an issue with the bump sensor, dirt or something defective. Are you going to try a replacement?

john doe If you go on irobot and chat with them they will read the error codes and if they cannot fix it they will ask you to send it for repair or exchange. Please reach out.

Robot Masters they replaced the unit, but right out of the box it started to give me that error!! It was disappointing because I even paid for premium delivery
and the unit was defective right out of the box

Not for a while, I am looking at 2020 new robot Vacuum models. I may get a 500 series down the road. I will let you know when I do.
I believe the e5 is being sold on iRobot website, as well as the 960. The 960 came right before the i7 and iRobot added WiFi to their random navigating robot e5/e6
Can you put the i7 dustbin on the e5 and have it use the self emptying bin since the i7 empties it self whenever it goes to doc with the bin being full

atom starfire productions but it would find the doc and just return to that one like it would with the one it came with my 980 will return to my 880 doc
keagan !! It’s because 500, 600, 700, 800, and 900 series uses the same dock. I’m not sure if I and E series uses the same dock, but I’m sure that the self emptying base is not compatible with e5.
I don’t think so because the e5 won’t recognize the infrared frequency that the self emptying bin emits to help the i7 line up. I will do a test on this and to see if the bind and charging docks are interchangeable.

Brock Schreiber Ok so how I got companies to reach out to send products for free in exchange for a review, is I built a CZcams channel focused on a specific Niche. My Topic is Robot Vacuums which I originally was going to expand my channel to cover other robots categories. Anyways, the channel was created less than a year ago but the actual CZcams account is very old. Once you have established a good audience, video topic eventually companies will reach out to you. You don’t necessarily need thousands of subscribers to get noticed. I know there are some websites that may send products for free in exchange for a review, just google them. Hope this helps and good luck
Here’s something to try: Try sucking up stuff like toilet paper, coins, legos, sticky notes, beads, yarn, etc. and see if the robots will pick them up

the e5 of my uncles came with the lighthouse and an extra filter /i dont own any, mabye i will get a used roomba original or a 500 series)
If you have a larger home the 960 a good option
Also I am about to post the 4th comment but I cannot wait for a new video to say it >-< have you noticed how the bin on the E5 is the same as the i7 you can prob switch them and see if the clean base detects the E5 as the I7 and see if we can make self emptying E5 lol
I think the charging contacts are slightly different and voltage output rating on the self charging bins

@@dumbstuffrc8825 Probably the Roomba s9 or Deebot 950 has the highest airflow. Shark IQ also has one of the best airflows too, and is a descent cleaner

I would focus on creating good content, do consistent uploads, doesn’t have to be everyday but most importantly have fun doing it 🤣. The vacuum companies will find you. Also if possible show us who you are in front of the camera, helps viewers relate to you better than someone behind a camera. I know it tough but showing yourself isn’t too bad 🤣

E5 or e6 what is the difference? We want more sparkles back in the videos 👍. Wow looks like irobot stole everything for S9 not just shape but bin as well and it calls shark thieves😝. Has irobot ever had a vacumm with center bin?
Technically they are the same robot, e6 comes with an accessory box that has two lighthouse, AA batteries, extra high performance filter and side brush. The e5 cheaper but doesn't come with any additional accessories.
@@RobotMasters wtf my e5 (silver and slightly cheaper) comes with 1 extra virtuall wall HALO, and 1 extra filter, e6 has 2 virtuall walls and full bin indicator i mean
@RoboVacCollector Yeah my e5 just came with a charging cable 😞. I checked iRobot website on what is included with the e5 and it just the charging chord, charger, robot and documentation. You must of gotten lucky on your e5 😁
