What does it mean when someone states tge truth but still changes the topic or interject as a distraction to skip the topic and bring up something else ?

Hey there, that’s an interesting question. There a couple of reasons why someone interjects after replying truthfully to a question. It could be that they aren’t all that comfortable with the question or that they aren’t comfortable with sharing any further details on the topic. So that’s why they try to change the topic so you don’t ask follow up question. Hope that answers your question?

​@niyserenjiy Honestly, I believe it depends on what the question or topic is. If it’s something that’s personal to them, I think it’s best to respect their wish and let it go but if it’s something that concerns you or that’s important to you for whatever reasons, you can ask them plainly why they are trying to change the subject and insist on your follow up questions. You don’t need to manipulate anything, just be straight forward.
