No this is a 40K refrence, if you pay attention you notice some of the people resemble Death Korps (No this is Patrick!)
There something we are missing. Field of Verdun but instead fields of Varks where the battle has begun brother and sister fall one by one fields of Varks.

Make them more motivated. That way you help extend their usefulness to the emperor, which I am sure even a rookie kriegsman would approve of. After all. They wish to expend their lives well. Not die without purpose like a chaos cultist might.

Kriegers would probably feel a deep emptional connection listening to this ancient invocation describing the bravery and dedication of their ancestors to fight even in the face of their death. To keep fighting even as their own bodies melt away because soldiers of a righteous cause are not allowed to die without permission of the emporer
The fact that he’s drumming on a tank makes this entire thing even more sabaton
Thing is, this is 40k. Somehwere in the Galaxy, this has happened.

I can see it, scouts and advanced forces have scouted the area so the Krieg officer knowing that even Kriegsmen need some morale reinforcement orders them to march with music playing.
You know what? I bet Sabaton would love this.

The Emperor without a single doubt in my mind approves this with all his heart. if he could see this he would get up from his throne just to applaud.
That was awesome, never expected the kriegsman to deploy bards to the frontlines to boost the morale.
It's for the spirit machine, no Krieg needs morale boost.

Nah m8, they're not trying to boost their morale (they literally want to charge ahead and die so morale can't be any better for the imperium), they're trying to demoralise the enemy
and make Vraksians sh*t themselves, because they are mentioned Russians
Imagine riding into battle to a song that is so driving, the dead soldier on his belly at 0:33 starts moving his foot along with the double-time. He probably would've walked with the others together, but aside from the leg all of his bones are probably crushed. So he just jiggles along happily.
I imagine the Krieger on the drums was the lead singer, while the mass of marching troops were singing the chorus.
Even after thousands of years Sabaton is not forgotten 🫡
Sabaton wouldn’t be forgotten. If anything, they would probably have been saved on every SCT on Krieg. Plus how did they name the planet so correctly? It was a just a normal planet before!

Thanks, now I have this Kriegsman in my head, scouring the crypts and catacombs of my mind for parts, rallying troops, and march into battle, some tanks converted into a full on driving stage, with an Orchestra of Kriegsmen playing "Attack of the Dead Men" to march along, while right next to the speakers the Artillery acts as the "pyrotechnics".
Jokes aside, this is amazing!

Cant tell you how much i adore this. I love that it appears like the drum set is hard mounted to the front of the turret and that it appears like its been up there a while. And the singer sounds likes he's inside the tank and the chorus really sounds like its coming from the marching kreigers. It all just blends so well. Just....awesome!
i like how you can see the wear and tear on both the tank and the drumset and i just like to think that it has been passed down to a different kriegsman everytime the one playing get killed, unless he's just to badass to die and has survived longer than any kriegsman out there

I enjoy that their tactic is to let the Leman behind instead of letting it go first.
I like to think the marching Kriegsmen are chanting the backup chorus as they go by the Leeman Russ and their drumming comrade.
I know Jokim's voice is probably muffled for copyright stuff, but it sounds like the voice is coming from inside the leman russ

I wanna see Plague Marines doing the vocals and having their own forces lumber and shamble towards the Kriegsmen. As if the vocalist hears the drummer through the gas and he decides to chime in lol

A Krieg on drums, a Mordian on piano/synth, a Catachan on guitar, a Tallarn on bass, a Valhallan on saxophone and a Cadian on vocals... It would be one of those bands

Yay Sabaton!!!! About 4 months ago I discovered them and they have become my new favorite. I think their music fit in with Warhammer 40K very well
The audio mastering is fantastic. Pushing up the volume of the drums since they're the only instrument physically present on the field is perfect. You even matched the sound to what the drummer was playing. Might not have been *exactly* the right drums, but that doesn't matter with how good everything else is.
Loved the video @Janovich! Even if it wasn't the Whole Song, it's still goes hard and just as enjoyable nonetheless! I'm surprised that there wasn't a Leman Russ Annihilator somewhere in the Background as that's the One Variant of the Leman Russ that the Death Korps Famously Uses alongside the Normal Mars Pattern Leman Russ Tanks.
