Hey Everyone,
In today's video, we're going to show you how to install a fully integrated BimmerTech Rear View Camera AND an Apple TV (BimmerTech SmartView HD) in a 2013 F30 BMW 328i. Please note, these kits are available for cars from 2008+/- to current, on our site: www.KiesMotorsports.com

Excellent detailed tutorial video. Got me through the install on my f80 m3. The updated bimmertech kits are much easier to install compared to the older ones that required tapping into the harness. The new kits are 100% plug and play. Of course, one tutorial cannot cover every model so use your brain when there’s a slight variation in the install

That thumb trick had me distracted for half the video 🤦🏽had to go back and rewatch everything from that point lol. I love all your videos. This is always my first stop for all my F30 diy projects over the last 3 years.

the best way to fit the cabel in the front is on the top part of the door moldings and this way you dont have to remove any plastic trim at all. nice job anyway

I have a '13 320i that came included with back up camera and I wanted upgrade to the 8.8 screen. would I still need to purchase the MMI unit?
Very nicely done. I’ve seen wireless solutions for minivans and SUVs. You get power from the backup lights for the camera and wireless transmitter. Then there is a receiver attached to the head unit. Is this not possible for BMW? Saves running wires from back to the front of the car

Hey i know I’m late to the video, question, if I’m only installing the backup camera, do i have to do the steps concerning taking out the idrive screen and configurations the video output cables and whatnot? I watched a video that they put out but it was 5 years old and they didn’t stay that step was needed, I’m not sure if it’s an updated tutorial or unit but could you let me know!
I have a question for you please. Can these be used on the e39 m5 with or without the factory radio regardless of the make or manufacturer as long as it has the option for the rearview camera? Please help with this. I really love the idea of adding this to my BMW.

I'm still surprised how much of a difference my f30 is from you guys in the US My F30 comes with backup camera also most of the stuff I see you guys coded in my M sport already comes with all of them very strange but the Japanese f30 has everything
Yea, TONS of F30s in the USA are very stripped down
Lots are stripped down because the people that buy them new are often sudt concerned with performance.
Many do come with all the latest technology and comforts.

Ive put new wheels on my f31 but I cant get the tpms valves to register with the idrive. The new wheels have new bmw tpms valves fitted but I just can't get them to work. Any help?

I’m installing my bimmertech camera right now and I’m at the part where you flip the switches to tell the car that there is a camera back there (2015 BMW M4 F82) I see that the on switch is on, and number 8 is switched down.
Can you do this on a 2011 bmw 528i ?

Question. How did you hear click on new handle if battery was disconnected?
I did this install on a manual f80 m3, but the parking guide lines do not move with the steering wheel angles... does anyone know why? The installer changed the settings to emulate an automatic trans car and it does work, but the screen does not cancel when going from reverse to any forward gear.

On my head unit i had a pink connector right below the quadlock that nobody else seems to have. It was nearly impossible to get the quadlock from the new harness to fit in there because the plastic leaver of the new one was slightly bigger. Now the lever and that connector are under high tension all the time cuz theres no room between them. Anyone knows what that connector is for?
