Hi I just bought a oem fob from the dealership for my BMW i3 the parts department told me the fob is program to the car already and said just need to to it against the column for a few minutes to activate the fob
But nothing. Do you have a video to how to activate key?

Hi, if you have key markings on the side of your steering wheel column, this video should help: czcams.com/video/zFrZecJFksU/video.html But if your i3 doesn't come with it, then unfortunately we don't have any activation tutorial for your BMW.

Hello, hoping you see this. I have a 2016 340i and when I would press and hold the lock button for three seconds my mirrors would fold. I took it to get serviced and not sure if they updated the car or something but it no longer folds the mirrors when I hold the lock button. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Hi! Sounds like maybe that was something you'd had coded in before? Your dealer probably updated your iDrive software, which would wipe any custom configuration. What about the driving mode feature, why does it always go to standard by default, even after using Sport or eco?

It is possible to code the car to always start in Eco mode. Please contact our support at [e-mail] with your VIN and the support team will be able to verify if it’s possible for your car. Please note, that there is no possibility to code the car to always start in Sport mode.

I just purchased an x4 M comp, we have 2 fobs, how ever the driver profiles do not work, however when I had my M550xi the driver profiles worked.
When we setup 1 driver profiles it synced to both keys. No matter what we do, any ideas?

It sounds a lot like you have just one profile created, in order for the different profiles to be synced with their respective key fobs you will need to have at least 2 driver profiles. Make sure each profile is created with the respective key fob.

Yeah i don’t think your understanding, okay which it’s not a problem. Each key has its own profile correct? So when I unlock with my key it should have my profile.
When my wife unlocks with her key she should have her profile correct?
Yeah it doesn’t work that way, it keeps
Overriding.
Lastly when we setup all the functions, and I unlock the doors the seats don’t go back to the original settings that I set it at, for a 100,000$ car I imagine it has that function.
I get the steering isn’t powered but my seats surely are, and if this isn’t enough info I’ll take a video of it.
