Dad had his routine cancer check canceled because this government so badly mismanaged covid and the NHS. They found his cancer more than a year after that canceled check, once it was already stage 3. He died just a few months later. The cascade of knock on effects on the health and wellbeing on the rest of the family has been devastating. Imagine how much worse covid would have been if the conservatives had gotten further in dismantling the NHS.
Liz Tuss's budget alone lost the ecomomy £30 billion according to reports, also increased borrowing by £411 billion which will increase those costs significantly. Brexit caused the economy to shrink by £140 billion and again those costs are ever increasing. Imagine how much better an NHS we could have had with even a fraction of those numbers being invested in the NHS.

Every nation, gets the government it deserves. Keep voting Tory, that's what you get. It's never been obvious to the peasantry, but the Tory Party only represents those with wealth. Yet the peasants keep voting for them.

If David Cameron wasn’t swanning around in a £42 million pound plane it would help. There is no need for that.

My mum suffers from repeated occurrences of acute cholecystis. The first time this happened she was literally howling with pain; my dad phoned for an ambulance and was told it would be at least a six hour wait because they were so busy. My dad got my mum into the car, driving under severe duress because my poor mum was screaming in agony and took us to A&E, leaving me with mum. We were waiting there for 22 hours on metal low back chairs, with no pain relief before we got to see a doctor, even though I made it clear that Mum had several serious co-morbities that put her life at risk. It was only when the area matron came back on duty for her next shift that she realised we were still there and went to get a doctor to see her. That was just one of a long line of nine and ten hour waits to see a doctor in the surgical assessment unit. Now we don’t even bother to phone for an ambulance, just drive ourselves. Our NHS is broken and I can’t see how it can be fixed.

Work until ya drop, and if you want disability allowances, tough, work through the pain. Anyway, critical issue: Vote in the locals! We can't assume that a massive Labour majority is already in the bag, as Starmer must secure a huge swing just to get a majority of ONE. Complacency in the locals is dangerous as we must send a very strong message, now! THE most important thing is to get the Tori£s out, THEN work to change the electoral system. The polls show that we want the TORI£S OUT, but we need to keep them OUT and that can only be done through Electoral Reform. FPTP was devised by the Ruling Class to keep the Ruling Class in power. It's not going to be easy to break the system that has given the Ruling Class power for 72% of the last 200 years. Voting apathy, or complacency by thinking Labour already have it in the bag, leads to electile dysfunction, which could let the denatured Tory semen slip back into orifice. Grab your blasted Voter ID. Get the Vote OUT. VOTE. VOTE TO GET THE TORI£S OUT. VOTE WITH FORCE TO KEEP THEM OUT!!

Ok so I have a private company pension, I should also have had a separate lump sum payout. But it was invested in usa and enron happened, so 11% of income paid to one, 5%paid to the other 16% max you could then put into private schemes, Then the state pension was delayed by a year..I now find that half my state pension is effectively wiped out in tax because of the threshold limits..upshot is im £50 a week better off..whoopee dooooo 😮

If you are a pensioner you should definitely NOT VOTE LABOUR.
They will tax your pension increase next year as they have not promised to increase tax threshold.
The Tories have promised to raise tax threshold for pensioners.

bad enough as it is with old people who have worked hard most of their lives,The Tories be expected to send old people who 80+ years old back to employment again,My grandparents wont be able to do much for work,Gran has something wrong with her heart,Has to take a lot of medication for it,Grandad suffers with dementia,Nan be luckly enough to do the house work for a few hours before getting very tired due to old age health probems,Also know many other old people who 80+ years old,Cant really see them also going back to employment again as well,This news is disgusting

1.2 percent of benefit spending was lost to fraud and error. The social and economic benefits of benefit spending are vast and greatly outweighs such losses.
The costs of poverty are associated with increased healthcare costs, decreased educational outcomes and reduced economic productivity.
The money this government has lost the economy is many times higher: Liz Tuss's budget alone lost the economy £30 billion according to reports, also increased borrowing by £411 billion which will increase those costs significantly. Brexit caused the economy to shrink by £140 billion and again those costs are ever increasing.
