    Having 70% of a 34% turnout isn't a solid win. 2021, middle of covid, people were bored of never-ending elections, low turnout all around for 2021's locals. It'll be interesting to see the turnout this time

    I want conservative to win so they can change the housing situation regarding RTB (Right to buy) to extend it to RTA (Right to Acquire) to benefit from the 35%- 70% based on years lived at their property. The discount will most definitely enable more Trent and Dove and housing association tenants to buy their home they live in ☝🏽
    If conservative decide to take this on board, all I can say is the Asian community will be fast to vote conservative:)

    Problems have been lost in this election….I have no photo I.d like many , iv never had a photo I.d , iv only used polling cards and letters/n.insurance num to vote, why I.as now🤔 reminds me of an I’d state in streets and on paper, I can’t afford a photo I’d so guess people like me can not vote? I’m 50years old and never needed a I’d before sooo why now?

As angry as I am with the Tories, Labour will take the area for granted like they did last time they were in power. Ben Houchen has been doing a brilliant job since 2017 so I will be voting to re-elect him as Tees Valley Mayor.

    Sunak has played a blinder with his £75B promise on defence spending. A bit like Klopp & Liverpool getting fit & in form Trent & Jota & Endo & Gakpo & Mo Salah back just in time. It will help Tory a lot in polls.

      @@ab8865 Only £20bn of the £75bn is newly announced spending and remember it is over the next 6 years. So this averages around £3.3bn a year extra and they've already said they're going to reduce civil servant numbers back to pre-pandemic levels to help pay towards it. Full spending review will come in a budget later this year, before the general election.
