Q: What is the most dangerous thing one will ever find in the Army?
A: A second lieutenant with a map and a compass.

I never had an escape hood in my pouch, especially on details. It was always filled with sandwiches and Reese's peanut butter cups. If anyone asked if I lost my gas mask the first thing I'd ask, "Was there a gas mask in the pouch? If there was I'd tell them it wasn't mine.
Edit: I have no sympathy for Farkas

If a batter got 3 hits out of every 10 at bats he gets into the hall of fame, right? And I, personally, think this is one of his best.
