The real star of this channel is the camera woman, producer/editor and narrator (main character?). This shows that the content really doesn’t matter much if you have good production and I suspect there wasn’t expensive video/audio gear used. Congrats. Love it.

Chevy S10 4 x 4 in the wrecking yard is what you're looking for. They have better leaf springs, they have better suspension parts, and the motors are identical except for you can use the tac function on the Chevy S10 4 by 4 and switch it over to the Astro van. I'm referring to the distributor wire on an Astro van and has two wires on the Chevy S10 4 x 4 it has 3 wires that third wire is the wire you use to connect your Tac

Theres something great about having a car that is super common to find in junkyards. Really fun digging around and seeing what options or accessories you can find or parts in better shape than what you have, and my local yards charge peanuts... Find parts that they basically give away that people are asking a hundred bucks for on ebay

To turn off your daytime running lights, when you're sitting in your driver's seat on the left hand side you will see around Circle button that button when pressed for times when the car is on will turn off your daytime running lights, at that point if you want to turn your lights back on all you have to do is push that same round button for more times this will enable your running lights once again. Just food for thought Astro van love brother I have a year 2000 GMC Safari van and I love my van

NOICE work man! I just changed my drivers side headlight with OEM 2 nights ago and feel that was a waste of $25.00 when I could have upgraded to these...will do in the future for sure. I have a 1998 AWD windowless cargo that I picked up from a cleaning company a couple of years ago and it's just been sitting next to my house. Just got tabs and insurance on it this week and did a trade job for a mechanic who did brakes, fixed the door handles, wiper motor, heater, oil change (hadn't done it since I owned it). Got me motivated, just got to get the wife in agreement on the Dave Ramsey Everydollar budget to buy the lift and new rims/tires etc.

  • @vanlifethetravelinfranksho5611

Anytime you see door handles or mirrors at the wreckers, GRAB THEM. These pieces always always break. I went through 5 door handles on mine when I had it. Drove me nuts til I finally gave up and took a metal coat hangar and used it as a door handle. Otherwise these vans are pretty much bullet proof and a blast to drive. I was going to shave the door handles and use solenoids to open the doors but never did cuz the van finally died at 400,000. Happy Vanning!
