Why c-betting too much out of position is costing you money

Barry had a huge leak where he would c-bet too much out of position, assuming his range advantage was enough to get the job done. In this new video Dara and Barry use node locking to discover that it is burning money...and not necessarily for the reason you might think.
This is a massive leak that can easily be exploited, so make sure you don't make it yourself.

Great stuff!
Would checking too much OOP be better or worse than betting too much? My instinct is that it would be better in GTO land but not sure about the results in the real world.
