Can y'all return to posting all the goals of every match week? That's how I kept up with what was going on in MLS, but y'all have not done it once this season. I want to see goals from this league without having to click on 30 different videos.
Not even addressing the clear handball in MTL
Referee was well positioned to see it as well, baffling
Looked to me on replay that it was deflected ball-to-hand off the defender from about 6 inches, and the hand wasn't extended to make himself bigger, so no offense.
@@johnmcgimpsey1825when you touch the ball with your arm during a goal action, if there's a goal, the good call is : no goal
@@CH2005 IFAB specifically changed Law 12 so that accidental handling only negates a goal if it is scored immediately by the handler. Since Boli was the one who backheeled it into the net, the goal is good.
@@johnmcgimpsey1825 you are wrong
captain dave thanks so much. I always love it when you get to do this segment.
I don't think the DC player ever touched the ball. It was the NYCFC defender who headed it back to the top of the box
Does mls use 70s telephone to make var checks 💀
Abubakar keeps getting lucky, avoiding clear red card tackles.
Joe Nasco’s red card was in 2014, not 2011.
4:05 back leg was trailing before the contact at 4:06. That was a flop, the ref had it right before VAR.
100% he was already falling over before any contact was made.
Was VAR even available for the LA Galaxy-Minnesota game?
I don't think it was, because of the streaming outages ( a bunch of non-mls employees chose not to work the game)
0:50 Strange conclusion to without giving any analysis...
Jusy saying 'lunge with excessive force' does not indicate what factors have led you to that conclusion.
The contact was woth the thigh of te trailing leg. The force is arguably low.
2:30 and then a really serious mischaracterisation of the VAR process
Gooooo Atlanta, United 🔴⚫️
Listen, start putting the clip mentioned in the title of the video at the start from now on
2:11
Nothing about Franck Boli goal ?????
I think most of Nashville's free kicks vs the Union were controversial, some of them didn't even have contact.
Frustrating end? So dumb. They won
Disappointed to see Rooney go, he (and Pineda at times) were the only managers who had the guts to say what the rest of the league was thinking about these refs.
He did the same playing in Europe. In 2005 he got a 2 match suspension for his treatment of referees. He criticized them on and off the field for years. Him doing it in MLS has everything to do with the him and little to do with 'these refs'.
Where's Wiebe at. I want to listen to an opinion I can actually respect
AR in Atlanta doing what the AR at Tottenham couldn't do - keep his flag the hell down and let VAR determine if the attacker is clearly OFFside. MLS 1, Premier League 0.
Then the AR in DC blew it. Oh well, we were better for a few minutes...?
Why would an official refuse to make the call he believes to be true in hopes that a camera happens to be lined up perfectly to have a better angle?
Justen Glad has made that same stupid mistake like 5 times this season. Why he keeps doing this is beyond me, but it's really frustrating to watch.
What were the other 4 occasions? He has certainly made some mistakes but this is the first time I have seen this. Sure, he gave up the ball cheaply, but that wasn’t the big mistake, literally ever center back in the league makes that mistakes 2-3 times per season at least. His crime is more not recognizing that it is better to go a goal down than play with a man down for literally an entire game minus 30 seconds. That mistake, he has not made this year.
Glad did something similar in leagues cup against lafc. It was a pore back pass to the keeper that bounga picked up and scored.
He did it v fc Dallas. He Tried to thread a needle and instead dispossessed the ball in the middle of the field leading to fc Dallas scoring. There are multiple times he’s done stuff like this and as an rsl fan it is annoying
yea and he's captain and he just signed another huge contract💀he keeps single-handedly screwing up our games
Inter miami suck😂 I'm glad that overrated team is out
What about the messi favorship in his game by calling fouls that were tackles? Oh yeah, you aint weibe
they will never admit it
which one?
having trouble seeing how there was over 6 minutes of stoppage time in the Atlanta crew game
Durkin was robbed! Yes I'm a DCU fan, but that was a goal and not offsides.
Very potentially onside but too close to really know for sure and way too close to cry about getting robbed.
❤❤❤❤❤💮💜💜💜💜
Love
Skc penalty got me messed up. Plenty of times this kind of foul has happened and it’s so inconsistent every single time. These refs are on some
Hahahahha
MLS referees are so bad. Every week my jaw drops at the calls and non-calls.
The bigger issue in Austin is that LAFC had shoved a player down from behind in the box just minutes earlier, should’ve been DOGSO red and a penalty, but no call whatsoever. Ref had a shocker.
Palacios put a shoulder to shoulder charge on Findlay (just outside the Penalty Area) and out-muscled him. Findlay didn't even look at the ref, he knew it was legal. Even his teammate only stuck up a weak hand and sheepishly put it down when he saw that the ref wasn't going to give the foul. It was a relatively routine no-call.
Abubakar should be ban from MLS
Y
Why are we reviewing obvious calls? Instant replay was when the call is controversial. Just sad. Guess there’s not enough content. Did review the SKC illegally standing in the wall
What are the rules of injury on the field? asking as a fire fan 🥲
There are quite a few. Google "IFAB Law 5" and see the section on injuries (under 5.3).
MLS should do better with the referees...I prefer the male referees more as than the females as the males are less prone to on field match errors
You clearly haven't been watching many games this season then, there have been some absurd calls from the male referees all season long.
