Hi I saw that you have Holley Hi Ram intake and I want to know the height and if it fit with the stock hood cause I want to get a FAST LSXRT intake for my 2007 4.8 Sierra Newbody style and I want to check for clearance sense I want to keep the stock hood
It does fit with stock hood

I have a question……I’ve been watching your channel as well as a few others on how to do these cam swaps in these Chevy 5.3s. Well I did the swap to my 2007 suburban saying the least it went well but the problem I’m having is I think it’s stuck in V4 mode because cylinders 1,2,4,7 don’t have spark or should I say not giving fuel. Is there a way to make the computer go back to V8 mode. I’m all the way on the big island of Hawaii
You need to tune the computer, and disable the DOD through the computer, what you can do temporarily is connect the valley cover to the connector and it’ll run on all 8
@@dinocoblue2709 thanks I figured that out later that night. Took it for a drive and felt relieved. Now I’m just waiting for my tuner to hit me up. How about break in? I’m not wanting to get on it yet but what would you say would be good break in for the cam, push rods and valve springs

What turbo do you recommend for a 4.8 from a 2007 classic
How much power were you running on the stock 4l60e I am planning on doing the swap in my 06 YukonXl 4x4 stock 5.3L 87 tune from Diablo sport stainless shorty headers and cold air already have custom built 900hp driveshaft built upgraded to yukon gear & axle truetrac duragrip rear end plan on a forced performance 7875mm turbo with a stage 3 TSP turbo cam. Plan on using you cam swap video when i swap the cam love the videos man great work. Oh yeah have the kit also from belltech for a 3-5 drop
What would you recommend for a single turbo and a transmission on the same year and make of your Silverado ?

Bro does any 4l80 work on ur year model truck or does it have to be a 4l80 outta of truck 07-13?
I don’t think they ever made a 4l80 from 07-13 so yeah it can be from any year model mine is like a 92 year model I think

Who makes the crossmember ? And the plug and play harness looks good !
Speed Engineering for the trans crossmember and PCM of North Carolina for the swap harness. Be sure that you have the selector switch on yours cuz if not you will need to get one from them as well. It is the black plastic thing on the driver side of the trans where your linkage hooks up. If you are switching from and 4L60E to a 4L80E and the 4L80E didn't come with the switch then you can just buy one with your harness from PCM of NC.
