They really are fantastic tools, especially for the price. Hopefully now we will see a lot of people getting into picking Disc detainer locks. Have a great weekend

Can you put a link to where you got that lock? The one I got, the opening is too small for the pick. I also saw that couldn't tension off disc one, you had to use a zero cut and then turn the tool to set disc one. If I'm correct?

Yes on this lock you set all discs then find a 0 cut tension off that then rotate the tool to set disc 1 it should then open the link bellow is the padlock in the video 👍 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07XXTQW2C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_h3SOFb4NWZK0Y?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Yeoo just smashed two of those locks you just did with the pick. Just moved onto a “Silverline” and am struggling a bit?
    -turn everything clockwise
Can I ask. Is it always clockwise rotation you are using to move these discs? Or is there any counter clockwise rotation needed ? That you’ve come across

Hi sorry for late reply from what I've found they all seem to open clockwise, turning them all clockwise is just to give a good starting point so you know the position of all discs and sets the 0 cut ones then rotate each disc anticlockwise till you find a gate most of the time you might have to rotate back clockwise then anticlockwise a few times on each disc to find the gate then hopefully when all set find the tensioning disc rotate clockwise then set disc 1. But as you opened these it's just the same process but a better quality lock increases its difficulty good luck

I was wondering like. Struggling with this new lock I have disc detainer one. Like do you turn everything clockwise to start with and then like rotate the disc anti clockwise with the tool? Or is it all pure clockwise? I’m looking at the keys and thinking like most of them are turned all the way clockwise with the key and the cut outs on the key. Like they don’t move everything as clockwise as it will go? If you what I mean? Like the slots or cut outs mean the discs that fit those won’t be moved as far clockwise? Hard to explain with pictures but like the bulk of the key. Everything gets turned clockwise. The cut out mean that the the discs that sit in the should be rotated anti clockwise? Do you get me?

But everything to start with clockwise so you know where your at. Then the discs that need moving. Do you need to rotate them back or anti-clockwise?
