This is how you win customer trust, by being helpful and honest. Great work as always!!!
Your honesty and integrity is beyond questioning and displayed daily. If you were in my locality, I'm sure I would be a nuisance and always be in your shop. The user complaining about solder mask sounded a little frustrated, which is natural. You make almost every aspect of electronics look effortless. Respect.
This man is a legend we must protect him with all costs no body mess with him I literally learned how to fix motherboards and devices from him he is a legend thanks alot for The new trick I saved alot of time
He should wear UV glasses when he applies the UV light. One day he is going blind from that radiation.
@@mygiguser It's not UV-C.
learnt so many soldering techniques from your channel. I'm a MacBook board repair tech from India. big ups to you..
10:58 That was awesome, thank you for the lesson.
@@-ESTITIK- Agree TC is the man, best GPU repair vids I've ever seen
its 11:34 :P
Mr Alex goes above and beyond for his customers, this video is right under the solder mask in their website as well and it just shows the integrity, purity, and honesty of this guy to just do the right thing.
One good tip for the UV light is that more than power the wavelength is important. Violet light is 400nm. Many UV flashlights are 395nm, which is borderline. Excellent resin curing lights are 365nm and are still very affordable.
You are exactly right.
I really like that you sell what you use across the board. . You know it's a good product and does the job you are doing. Selling what you trust speaks to your integrity. Thank you for making these videos.
You are always helpful and honest with your customers and viewers 👍👍
I really appreciate you! You seem a kind man sharing knowledge and technique to everyone else for free, selling only the things you know are good for you first. You are optimistic, always smiling and a good professional! It's really bad you have so many subscribers but so little appreciation! I know you don't do it for likes! I wish you good health!
Sir you are a gentleman and a scholar 👨🏫. If there were more people in the world such as yourself with your morals and standards this place would be so much more a happy place to live. I wish I had found your channel the day the first video was posted. Sure would’ve sped up my learning and surely cut my mistakes and goof ups by at least 75%-85% if not more. Thank you for all that you do sir!!!!!

One of the most educational videos I've watched on the channel...you have no idea how many times I've tried applying solder mask and failed...I thought the thumbnail was click bait...Good Job!🙏

Im just geeting better in soldering with this channel, keep up the work sir👍
Wow.!!! THANK YOU for this great tip. Many times I have had problems with UV mask... now I tested yours 100% OK ! THANK YOU
So #1 , I directly applied it to the board so I did have too much, #2 there WAS flux residue on the joints that I was masking, #3 my light IS infact PURPLE but doesn't look quite like yours so I'm leaning towards mine not really being UV, #4 thank you for the video and I apologize for saying that I got different solder mask when it was user error that was the problem,.
I love your channel Ive binge watched every video and I've bought alot of stuff from you guys and it has all been quality, so thank you

You ARE a Maestro, my friend!
Yesterday i repaired a friend's old Edifier 2.1 speaker. It wasn't better than factory but We're getting there! Thank you!
Excellent tip with the hot air thanks for sharing Alex .
Thank you Alex ! Very helpful, all your videos ! God Bless !
Solder mask is basically UV resin, which heats up to cure, so that’s why that hot air trick works. It works with any type of resin you want to cure faster actually.
Epoxy?
@@Snecho any type that has a heat reaction to cure
@@Blu3ManiC Nice!
@@Snecho keep in mind that epoxy will be cloudy after curing it with heat. So no pretty stuff unfortunately, just functional.
@@razaelll Interesting stuff
Very nice video, i appreciate it very much.
Everytime you do such i explaining-video, i learn so much. Thank you, thank you.

Great job, love your videos.
Awesome technique, thank you
gracias por compartir tus tecnicas
I use the same solder mask and UV light and stuff that you use, but this was still very helpful, thanks!
You are great and honest man full of knowledge willing to share. Thanks for that. One of the problem with solder mask can be the amount of it. All we see is under the microscope and it seems big, but in realty it's smaller than rice.
Excelente técnica amigo, se aprende mucho de usted. Dios lo bendiga siempre junto a su familia. Saludos desde el puerto de Paita-Perú

amazing technique sir.
Are you kidding me? How did I never figure out heat and UV? Simple you're brilliant man!
Nice trick...Thank you👍
Thanks so much! This gave my an idea. My soldermask wouldn't cure at all.. But when you metioned the hot air I knew what was wrong.. I was using soldermask in 15 degreese C, way to cold, so I turned up the heat in my DIY room and booom! Soldermask cured in 10 seconds. LoL
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Learned a lot today! I got a problem, maybe you can help with this one too: after soldering I use Isopropyl alcohol for cleaning, I tend to use a designated toothbrush, sometimes Q-tips and other hard brushes. My problem is, that after the alcohol has evaporated, I got kind of a sticky residues on the PCBs, that feel very disgusting. I even tried with paper towels, it is so hard to remove those sticky residues. Do you have a tip or technique how to solve this problem? Best wishes and a thousand thanks, Michael
