- Finally put my 2019 Christmas gift to use. The lady got me a interior detail, but since the world has been on hold I couldn’t use it until recently. Turned out decent, I probably could’ve done better myself though.🤷🏾♂️

The people who didn't see a difference in braking are the flatlanders in the small Yukons/Tahoe/Escalades. If you're in a Suburban/XL/ESV in the mountains, you'll DEFINITELY notice it when you're going downhill into a turn and the vehicle actually slows down when you step on the brake.

Thank you! Yeah not too bad of an install. An easy engine mod would be air intake. Could prob do headers too but that would require a tune. Could also prob go true dual exhaust as I believe they all went back to one muffler and pipe.

@@MrGriffin23 also your center console seem a little more equipped. Has a little light for where your shoes are the 2 a/c outlets and the little flip up pad in the middle. Crazy how they cheated out on those things for the later models

Its not your sending unit its the stepper motor in cluster for your gas gauge issue
Thanks for advice! From my research my year Escalade (2002), does not come with the stepper motors in the speedo cluster like the 2003-2006 models. Mine is completely different. They are called air cores, they typically don’t go bad, they just need to be re-oil sometimes. So I might check that, but if that isn’t it, most likely it’s the sending unit in the tank.
hey man, i just picked up my black on tan 2002 escalade 6.0V8 AWD, im gonna be doing some work on it since its needs new belts and soon, and shocks, ABS sensors etc etc, but as far as belts are concerned, do you know what the alternator is rated at as far as amps go, cause im not sure what drive belts i need, the parts store says the 2002 escalades use 2 types of alternators, theres a 130amp one and a 140 amp one. Im assuming we use the 140 amp one since mines a 6.0LV8?? can you please find out?? thanks bro
That’s dope! I love mine. I was wanting to do more videos and upgrades on it, but my other cars are taking up my time. If your alternator has the bigger case it should be 140 amp. Some GM Large SUV’s did come with the smaller case which is 105 amp. I’ve had both.

@@DeadEnDCrew Yessir! Should be 140 then. I bought a stock 140 amp one for my Caprice. It has a LS truck motor in it.
