I been waiting for this kind of review. Thank you!
I was looking for a review like this! Great video! Thanks!
You won’t be disappointed with the Nothing Ear 2. Unless you were listening to a 4.5 hour podcast.
4.5??
@@aryheic the Ear (2) only last 4 hours with ANC on
@@aryheic hour*
@@bigdarrio😂😂😂😂
Lol. I cant use ANC during work..
love these comparision videos
love these earbuds battle videos! more please!!
Excellent review!
The firmware update on the Nothing X App is crazy. The advanced EQ made it sound better
i dont know why but every time i use the advanced EQ it sacrifises my noise and makes it quieter than if it was on a badic eq preset, i dont know if thats a thing for everyone or just me
Another day another w video
I like the Beats Studio Buds+ better because of its new more balanced EQ and the looks(I don't like stems on my earbuds)
I have the original Nothing Ear 1 and the Studio Buds+. I find myself going back and forth between the two.
The divot is not for fidgeting. It's an indicator on which side you can open it.
in my opinion he was my favorite when it came to headphone reviews - but to each their own. That said, this comparison almost took me back to the days of Jim's Review Room.
Now there a name I haven't heard in awhile. I miss Jim, he was the best at reviewing audio in an easily watchable way
@@Metamine0 yup! At over a Million Subs I was surprised to see him walk away… but at the end of the day it’s what’s best for him. He and MrMobile were the top channels I followed…. And while I do still love watching Michael Fisher, I miss Jim. He brought on such a relaxed atmosphere and yet was so informative.
Always hoping he might return… but… it’s doubtful.
@@josiahstearns9615 yeah I wonder what he's doing now
Can you do a comparison between the Nothing Stick vs a similarly priced semi in-ear buds?
I believe Apple keeps key features out of the Beats line to keep it from being a better option over their AirPods line. I’d go with the Nothing Ear just because I prefer the design more.
A very thorough review. I vote for the Nothing Ear 2. Thanks...
I'll comment something unrelated but,
recently I got to test the airpods pro (1) anc on a plane. The ANC was trying too hard to cancel too much and since the engine rumble wasn't consistent there was this uncomfortable strong-weak-high-low ANC thing going on. Using the Airpods pro as just ear plugs with anc off was better.
I miss my donner dobud 1 still have the case, I lost them
beats is more comfortable and stays in the ear better. The neutral sound signature may sound "boring" but it allows you to increase the volume and give you a more full sounds vs the more V sound signature of nothing ear 2. Beats is far superior.
I disagree the beats fall out of my ear often
@@Pain-Glory I disagree too, it often falls out from my ear as well an comfort wise the nothing ear 2's imo is more comfortable also the volume he was talking about, I really don't have any issues turning the volume up an experiencing a good sound quality on the nothing ear 2's an it gets even better if ur good at tuning the sound. There's a reason why professional audiophiles love this so much.
I like the Beats so much I bought them twice, I managed to lose the first pair after 1 week. 😢
Let’s see WF-1000XM4 vs Noting 2 vs AirPods Pro 2 !
I know IEMs are pretty much the default these days, and required for ANC, but I wish there were more options similar to the regular AirPods 3 that don’t go all the way into your ear canals.
I find that to be much more comfortable, and you also don’t have that annoying reverberation from every step you take, every bite you make, and from simply breathing.
Back before the wireless days, I preferred non-IEM earbuds such as Yuin PK2/3. Too bad nothing like that exists in the wireless world.
For those in the same boat, the only option you really have is the AirPods 3 (which I love, btw) or the bean shaped Galaxy Buds, so it would be nice to have more to choose from.
For one second I thought you were singing "Every breath you take" 😂. I agree with you, it'd be nice to have more AirPods 3-like buds. Not everybody loves in-ear as they can feel very uncomfortable. I'm with you in the same boat.
Soundpeats makes some nice ones, so do JBL, just do a bit of research
@@kurtz1993 Haha… I just realized that was a missed opportunity!
@@kurtz1993 Actually, thanks to Prime Day, i just found some!
Echo Buds 3, which go back to the semi-open style, and not like the IEM style Buds 2.
They were only $35 during Prime Day, and I knew I couldn’t pass them up.
Color me impressed! They actually have much more bass than AirPod 3s due to an extra sleeve that creates more of a seal (but still let’s sound in, with no microphonics). I highly recommend them! 👍👍
@@letsgowalk thanks for the suggestion!
I ended up purchasing both to see which was better I lost my air pod pro 2nd gen and wanted to find a cheaper replacement. I went into this completely unbias to both companies I had not heard of Nothing and never purchased a beats product. After listening to both the Beats studio buds + do not sound bad its just if you listen to them back to back the Nothing Ears have a much more open sound a let a couple of my family members listen to a minute of music of both pairs of headphones and everyone liked the Nothing ears more.
True. I’m assuming you kept the Nothing buds then?
So I have to say something, I drive a large truck and I did a test and got right next to the engine as it was running and I was very impressed that I didn’t hear the engine noise as I’m talking testing and my voice sounds clear and loud.
Umm, but which ones were you testing? Nothing or Beats?
Beats, the nothing did pretty good too but the beats did excellent
@@lotdominguezcastellon6028 thank you for the answer!
You have to remember that yes Beats are owned by Apple, but Apple uses Beats as their budget line. With that said, they are not going to match them exactly with AirPods Pro’s. This is why the transparency and ANC is not quite up to par with AirPods.
"beats" and "budget" should not be in the same sentence lol, Apple moment
Great video! Anyone used the nothing 2's as gym buds? Need a set besides my xm4 buds for gym and moving around
2:00 excellent point.
I am sorry but apple pioneered the wireless earbuds? Sir add apple eyes to your name because many others before them made that
I definitely go for a Nothing ear. The beats keeps the same design but made transparent. I love sound with more bass
This is an odd comment. You said the beats keep the same design. So does the Nothing 2’s. You said you like bass. Beats are know for bass.
@@Aggie4life77what are u about? Beats has had same sound in literally all of their earphones. Nothing on the other hand has totally customized driver to adjust sound as per your liking. So delusional and ignorant you are..
Clearly the Beats are just marketing for a bad product. The microphone sounds bad. It seems stupid to advertise 3x larger microphones if that’s the worst part of the product.
The Beats kept the low end in his voice. The Nothings muted them and made him sound like his balls were chopped off.
@@sgallegos702 You might need to get better headphones. Lol. The Beats microphone sounds like a phone call from 2008.
Mics in the beats sound a lot more natural
How is the battery and charging with the nothing alot of people complaining battery does after 2 hrs to 10 percent
choose beats at least they have a warranty
Does Nothing Ear (2) support Spatial Audio?
It doesn't support it because they said it wasn't worth the R&D due to the very few musics that have been recorded with that tech.
Why do people always say apple started the wireless earbuds? They were out for like 3 years before apple chopped of the wire from the Earpods. I was wearing the Samsung Gear Icon X for a year before Airpods.
In essence, buy beats just to be different lol
Buttons for controls is where its at, makes them soo much easier to handle, and there won't be any accidental touches
I've never once accidentally squeezed my nothing bud, what are you talking about?
Had both. Beats actually IMHO look better in ear, despite the emphasis on aesthetic of the nothings.
How’s the sound for you?
When it comes to the Beats headphones, Apple must sorry enough make some bad decisions. Because they can't make the Beats headphones
too close to AirPods. (When it comes to different functions.) Then people are gonna buy the Beats headphones instead of the AirPods. Because the Beats headphones are cheaper than the AirPods and they have the same functions as the AirPods. So there need(s) to be some differences. That Nothing don't have to
think about. Because Nothing has only one company. When Apple have two; Apple - their own business/company and Beats - the smaller business/company that Apple own now.
Nothing also basically took a pair of AirPods and made the stem clear😂😂😂
Saying "apple pioneered the first tws earbud" is factually incorrect and plain stupid.
Nothing is worth the money.
Bro this review was so negative with an obvious bias for Nothing Earbuds...
Why even bother reviewing them if you're just going to obviously shit on beats the entire time.
Nothing is good
who else thought they were transparent airpods
The nothing buds will soon come apart after like 8months of usage
First!
Lmaooo. Apple "pioneered the first true wireless earbuds" he says...
And he wants people to believe he knows what he's talking about 😂😂😂
Next thing you'll tell me Apple was the first to come out with USB-C or that they're working on an innovative new feature called a fingerprint reader
You complain a lot and something’s don’t matter to me
