Hijacking was result of our Negligence, we had Intel at that time in Kathmandu and proper report was submitted to a senior official in embassy who was also a R&AW man regarding what can happen but he neglected by saying this ain't happening AND unfortunately the senior official in the embassy was also on the same flight that was hijacked.

The army was always seeking revenge since the 2001 parliament attack but at that time also govt denied to do something and as a result Op Parakram was launched leading to a War Scenario.
