Wow, killer my friend. I wish it was a bit more in depth when you did the chisel work. Explaining where to start and how to move the metal.
Honestly Rob I think you make some of the best chiselled skulls found anywhere.
I'm enamored by your skill and demonstrating with simplicity that which is beyond most of us. I'm 75 years old and just beginning this new hobby and your videos are encouraging and inspiring! I look for ideas and techniques to do things but try to avoid copying someone's work other than in part on the first trial run in which I decide if I can do something. Please keep up the GREAT work!
I would not classify myself as any kind of artist. Occasionally creative with materials and I've made a few things in my life that I am proud of, but many more of my efforts have resulted in personal dissapointment than success. I've tried a few times to carve in metal like this and am happy to stand behind my efforts and say I got the result I wanted even if they are rough. I even created a decent anataomically correct skull in clay once as part of a school project. This video makes me jealous that my best ever effort comes nowhere close to this final outcome. As it is Thak, I'll quote some rock lyrics to show my appreciation. "The blacksmith and the artist. Reflect it in their art. They forge their creativity. Closer to the heart. Yes closer to the heart." In my mind Rush was the greatest band ever, and this video made me immediately think of those lyrics. Thanks Thak, I enjoyed the blacksmith and the artist in this video.
Always cool to see you do a skull.
The music was fine, just a little loud at times
Looks amazing as always 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
Thak, I am new(er) to your channel, I am totally diggin' your work! Very talented indeed!
Amazing as usual
That's beautiful! I'm going to try one as an integrated 4 speed shifter handle and knob for the Muncie in my 53 F100. Maybe curve, sculpt and shape the shaft into a spine.
I love the skull work. I have pretty much stuck with 1/2 in square for mine. less detail needed.
thank you Thak you have been a big inspiration for me.
Awesome
Love it!!
Fantastic as always. I was gonna ask where the cheesy music, is but we got a few seconds at the end. Keep it up !
Oh my god I forgot the music! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
loved watching your process!
That is a lot of metal to move by hand. The results look fantastic though, the extra detail really makes it stand out on another level.
Nice work! 10/10
You should make a gear shifter skull for a video. Show the tapping and install
Yay, new video :D
Love the skull! I need to do one of those for a pommel!
Outstanding work ..
pretty epic! would love to add one to my collection! ive been known to make a few skulls myself!
You always impress, thanks for continuing to share your work.
Love it. Badass as usual 😎
Splendid work, as always
Wonderful piece. It would make a great mace head. A skull for smashing skulls.
And nice video as always, a little short though.
It was a bit shorter than usual, but it's a subject we have covered fairly well at this point and I see no reason to draw the video out much longer than it was. Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome dude love ur work you have sum serious talent! Nice work 👏 👌
you should make a traditional silver cretan knife
Es! Я научился и повторил.
very cool, not something I have ever tried although I have an idea of how difficult it is. If some one didnt want to pay your going rate for the work you do I would say ...more fool them.
I tried forging a human skull, but the guy screamed the moment I put his head in the fire. Any advice?
get him drunk first
