Wouldn’t this exceed your recommended dose of no more than 2% polysorbate 20 in the solution? I’d like to make my essential oil blend at 5%, 5 mL blend of essential oils + 5 mL polysorbate 20 + 90 mL DI H20. Is this comprehensive?

Im kinda curious why do we need to use 1:1 Polysorbate20 to EO ratio ? Ive read somewhere to use at least 5x more Polysorbate20 than essential oil. Thanks

I bought fragrance oil from one of the fragrance oil distributors. It's a very thick oil. I use it in a humidifier or vaporizer type diffuser. You put oil in the diffuser and then a few drops of fragrance oil. But the fragrance oils that I have been using are from Bath & Body Works or Yankee Candle and there are watery base. Not an oily base. So I need to turn this fragrance oil into a diffuser blend for the vaporizer diffuser. How would I do this and what do I use exactly?

Bath and Body Works and Yankee Candle do not sell fragrance oils. They sell proeducts that contain fragrance oils. Like sunflower oil with a fragrance oil mixed in. You get fragrance oils from cosmetic suppliers like wholesalesuppliesplus or Brambleberry. Even Michael's has some small ones in the soap making section. I've never had a thick fragrance oil. It's typically very thin like water.

I've asked many people on that topic..... Including suppliers and everyone of them said yes one supplier recommended it.......also on using RA to sanitize they put detergents in RA that's what causes the tacky feeling so what they said is because of the detergents that it had the tendency to attract dirt they recommended denatured alcohol which when I was growing up that's what my parents and I used to clean the mirrors,counters,really all purpose well there's a US supplier that uses denatured alcohol in there videos! Just something to think about
