Sad part is model companies have always been behind the times. So it's always difficult to create model styling wether you were doing it in the 70s or 2023.

Nice looking job you did with this car.. I built this same kit back in the mid 90's and I've recently bought this one. The engine stand and short block engine came with it back then also. I want to say the body color on the box back then was yellow. I don't remember if it came with decals then, but if it did, I didn't use them.

I'm using this kit and a Jimmyflintstone 66 Nova sedan delivery body (NB38), no hood scoop. Not decided on a color yet, maybe 2tone. I won't be using the kit decals.

Nice as always Doug. Do you or any of your viewers know a good way to remove the static electrical charge that builds up on body shells?
Chris, You can buy anti-static wipes. DeVilbiss make them for automotive use. Just google them. Sometimes just wiping the body with a damp cloth will remove most of the static though! -Doug

When you say white glue what exactly is that I'm guessing its wood glue just not sure thanks
