    Thank you for this! I'm NOT an experienced modeler, and I'm attempting to make a custom T-Bucket rod to look like my real life counterpart.
    The "instructions" that come with this are basically: *"here's a bunch of parts... GOOD LUCK!?"*
    ...so wish me luck! Lol!

      Bastian, Thanks. The old kits were not really known for good instructions. That's one of the reasons we started RoR - to inform and inspire! Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers! -Doug

    Good job. I built this kit in the 1960s, and I remember the engine options. Your engine detailing looks good. The orange-tinted windows are cool. Windows in the 1960s were clear only. The colored roof insert is also cool. We didn't get that in the 1960s.

      PJ, Thanks dude. Many of the re-issued kit have had upgrades like that! -PS, please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers. -Doug

    I bought this kit many years ago and finally got around to building it last summer. Very fiddley but a nice model when completed. You did a fine job.

    I have the 3 in 1 version of this that lets you also have enough to build a stock t as well. I bought it almost 10 years ago. First kit I've built in the same amount of time. Thanks for the paint colors and assembly tips. The instructions that come with it are not good. Makes me realize how spoiled I had become with tamiya kits.

    • @RightOnReplicas
      @RightOnReplicas  Před 4 lety

      SC, Thanks for the info! Tamiya instructions and most modern kits are much improved now but beware that even Tamiya and the other makers sometimes make mistakes to this day. You have to test fit and do what makes sense sometimes. PS - please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers. -Doug

      @@RightOnReplicas Did you know this kit came out in 1960? anyway, i am doing a series on the engines included in the AMt Trophy series. this kit has the MEL engine in it, the 430 CI that was used in the 1958 Mercury, Edsel and Lincoln engines. It also has 1956-57 Lincoln Continental Mark III valve covers.
      I built the engine 4 out of the 5 ways...the optional "Trumpeted" carburator tops are too large and interfere with one another. :D - ah..the joys of model building!

    Spent two months on this trying my best to make it look like my real 23 T bucket. ...JUST finished it!
    Your video helped. This was basically the second model car I've done since I was a kid in the 80's but I put all I had into it, customized and fabricated a lot of parts, and I think it turned out pretty cool!
    Check it out if you get a chance and encourage a newb to build more cars! I'm subscribing to your channel now!
