Hi, just wanted to share some friends and I have been doing tribute builds. We had a friend who built in this style so much we called any build of a car we owned, had a chance to drive or was a family or friends after him. Larry Neysmith has passed on, but his insperation live on. Tribute cars are great ways to honour and remember.
Tim, kudos to you and your friends for using the hobby to pay tribute to others! -Doug

CP, Nice rescue. Thanks! -Doug
Nice job! AMT is really making me a creative builder.... lots of super glue and now I'm using automotive black RTV gasket sealer
to fit tires to this truck rim. The tire just about goes through the rims with very very little support. So I'm using RTV on the inner portion of the wheel to the tire bead as it creates a better 'seated' tire!
Dan, Great tip, thanks! -Doug
Thank you for sharing such a special build, beautiful job
Thanks TJ, I appreciate that! -Doug

This is Norm using wife's ipad, just wanted to say Beautiful build for you Mom 👰
Thanks Norm. Right nice of ya! -Doug
Doug nice build. Just a couple of points. The door handles are on the wrong sides. The soft tops were not retractable they were permanently installed. They did this all the way up to 1936 as 1937 was the first year for the solid roof. The reason I've been told is that because of the curves of the body they couldn't punch the steel that deep without puckering the center. I hope this helps.
Jim, Lot's of great information there, thanks! PS, please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers. -Doug
