League of Legends and other games have given many opportunities for gamers to play games professionally. But as time goes on we've seen certain players blow their opportunities by making mistakes that cause them to lose their positions. From cheating, rage quitting and sometimes just being canceled online over their opinions.
Today we take a look at 8 different situations where pro players we're dropped by their esports teams.

You didn't mention the whole story about Dom's ban , they actually accused him of being toxic in solo q for a certain period in NA, while he was not even in NA, he actually got suspended because he hurt a rioters feelings when he said that spirit guard udyr looked bad when it got presented to dig. Dom explained the whole situation a while ago on youtube with all the proofs. He kept getting banned from co-streaming because some higher ups in riot games hated him, only the new people in charge like him. He almost quit streaming riot games stuff entirely because they kept banning him for absolutely 0 reason.
Yes, was about to say. And its not like he hated on the skin for no reason. He was a pro-player at the time and riot showed the skin to a few people to see what they thought. This skin was to be the most expensive skin to date, and technically still. With this in mind, he told riot his honest opinion about the skin, it was ugly. They made up some bs and banned him. They did improve the skin tho, so ig dom took one for the team. Never trust riot games.

I mean, the toxicity allegations were not without evidence either. There was a time earlier in his career where he would berate people for not doing good. He himself admitted to it. But the continuous banning on him was definitely a stretch. He was toxic, but he was never at former Tyler1's level.
@@FrenchDinosaur am I imagining things? I've seen him being a complete and utter douchebag on videos multiple times when I was into League back in the day. I always "knew" he was toxic, that was basically what he was known for. Being insanely good on Rek'Sai and being an asshole :D

I'm not sure why blitz's ban is similar to the bans of people who showed genuinely toxic behavior.
Because blizzard generall takes disciplinary actions and breach of contract more seriously then valve and riot. at the time they were a publically listed company many times the size of riot. blitzchung used their medium to express his own political views. theres nothing stopping him from having said political views, it's just not allowed to be expressed on their platform in a major sporting event that costs lots of money and has many sponsorships. He did it whilst on air in front of millions.
@@Mrlorop Nevermind that the casters didn't even try to stop him. The casters knew what was up but they went along with it and put their heads down like they had nothing to do with it. They got fired and from what I heard, blacklisted from the industry(e-sports).

Honestly I agree. Very unfortunate sequence of mistakes.
As someone who takes firearms pretty seriously, I'm more surprised he didn't end up shooting himself after thinking he unloaded it. He only cleared the chamber and either didnt release the mag or there was another bullet. Please remember, always treat guns like they're loaded. Even if you just cleared them.
Right? Eject the mag, clear it, safety on, if you have one (you should) get one of those flags that say its clear and STILL treat that bitch like its loaded.
Not to mention he flagged his own hand after that negligent discharge, and kept his finger on that trigger after that. Dude needs firearms safety training or just should return his weapon, before he hurts or kills himself or someone else. RIP G-Fuel tub and whatever else that bullet hit.

I just wonder what goes through their minds when they do shit like this, they truly don't think about what happens if they get caught or what consequences would doing this lead to. To be honest, regarding Zero's situation, if I was the org I would kick him too. The banning from Riot might be too much and maybe a few months suspension would have been enough but at the place of the org, joke or no joke, I don't want someone able to make that kind of statement publicly.
If I'm not wrong, he's kicked right after that incident and he was only able to stream and play in a team for a little community event which he won.
The alarming part about Tanukana's story is WHAT the headlines are on the articles. "Men under 5' 7" don't deserve human rights" is a joke that could be played off. "LGBT people are mentally ill" and "depressed people and blacks can be cured if they stop being so selfish" among various other things she said are horrible statements that even as jokes are just shit.

Back in 2019, there was a Filipino pro player named Kuku who typed a racial slur towards Chinese players on pubs. He typed "Ching Chong" when he saw a player name with Chinese characters. This resulted in the Chinese community angered and Valve stepped in to banned him from the Major
The Major by the way was held in China, Chongqing which makes it ironic and hilarious.

Cheating, Domestic Violence, sexism, reckless toxicity and abusing players has no place in esports. Do people really just like videos without thinking or watching it?
