League of Legends is known for having a very large player base that consists of many toxic players. And that perception is unfortunately very true at times. Today we are looking at some of the most bizarre situations created by trolls within the game. From Korean streamers being banned, to getting your team disqualified at an esports event.

I got held hostage in an ARAM game they refused to finish for 1.5 hours, with the enemy and my team constantly throwing insults and saying to leave so they can report me. After 1.5 hours I did, and guess what?
"You left a game and were reported, you've been suspended for 10 days."
Had to literally go on a 1-week-ticket-fight with support till they finally 'looked into it', by that point there was like 2 days left on the suspension. Actually insane.
See, I would have just stopped playing the game forever at that point. Probably looked into legal or Social Media retribution options.

First chat ban in a said period of time will be 10 games, then 25, then a 1 day league ban followed by some more untill a 10 day ban." so yeah nah you can be banned 10 day from league if its for toxicity so like this guys said he left and the other player having reporting him got him banned
That whole video was a nuts. Getting 14 days after that was even more nuts. I would think a stronger punishment should come after this appeal to deter this kind of thing. Otherwise the precedent for topping it is high among trolls.

There was a Kayn bug like a year or two ago when if you stood in a specific place your W would be global. People would just build him full lethality and haste and just kept spawncamping the entire enemy team from across the map. Then the Kayn would report the enemy team for inting and they would get banned for him abusing a bug. Game's a joke lol

It would be a pretty big red flag is someone going 1/40 doesn't get immediately auto banned. In general these bugs get fixed or disabled pretty fast and offenders banned afterwards, but since the new account market is so big most people just pay 5 euros for a brand new account and go about their day like nothing happened.

Going through all this work just to make someone miserable is sad and/or concerning. I've seen people act up when playing online, but nothing comes close to how horrible someone can treat someone else when playing League of Legends.

Female Divisions really confuse me. In physical sports ok, but in Gaming there is absolutely 0 difference between genders. That idea is kinda discrimatory on its own.
It's to incentivize female/GNC players and give them a spotlight, so they can have a bigger impact in the community and possibly be scouted. What was the last time you saw a pro eSports team which had a girl in their main roster?
Yeah it's kind of weird, but I guess it's to foster gaming culture so that women can eventually catch up men. There are simply not enough of them playing for long enough to catch up right now, the hope is that by seeing women play and not get destroyed that an audience can grow and eventually the numbers and gaming culture to catch up would appear. From a business perspective, you are missing out on half of humanity as potential clients they will try to get them in.

Pro teams could take a girl in anytime. Why it doesn't happen more often is a mystery to me though, I am certain there are numerous high quality players out there who are women.
@@Mediados Any sport isn't the most welcoming to women. Ask any person with a "girly voice" about their experience in games with VC. You can almost guarantee they've been harassed for their voice at least once, let alone their gender. That already creates an unwelcoming environment.
Yes the purpose of equality is to level the playing field and have the perfect balance of people, but discrimination is going to happen regardless.

Outside of ranked (Maybe even in that mode) League should have a kind of sudden death after 1 hour of game. Something like "The team with most torrets destroyed wins. In case of draw all structures are gone"
I agree but I would put it an hour and 15 minutes because I have had a few games go past an hour - admittedly only very few but still
Well there is something like that in clash. Basically turret armor decreases over time and if enough time passes turrets will slowly start to loose hp

The policy is to never remove suspensions unless it was a suspension for compromised account.
Suspension for feeding, regardless of whether or not it was deserved cannot be reversed

You could argue that I only have one example, but every single other person that was ‘wrongfully’ banned for toxicity ended up showing the forum pages of logs full of toxicity

Should riot start implementing tower decaying features like in wild rift? I'd say, after 1hr and 30mins of game, towers, inhibitors and NEX/XUSES should start taking damage overtime until one team ended the game.

This happened to me once. We were held in this game for over 4 hours, with a Senna on our team and a Veigar on the enemy team. They were pre and kept talking about wanting to set a record on game time or sth. At some point the game crashed and their accounts were nowhere to be found XD
lol they prob got banned lmao. riot probably put a hard flag on games that go over a certain length, prompting an admin to look into the game. The admin probably saw that and banned them on the spot lol.
Last week I had a game with 3 afk on my team, and the other one was like 0/30, I fiinished the game 10/6.
But the crazy part is that, I recorded all the game, since minute 0, and the remake possibility DIDNT appear..
Resuming, the enemy team entered our base in 9 minutes on game, they destroied every tower and inibitor in like 10 minutes, and then all the 5 enemies just stayed up on our base, dancing, spamming their mastery, and spamming skills on our spawn, and sometimes it instakilled the other 3 afk that were lvl 3.
They all were like 7/0, I wasn't playable, one of them even bought the mythic item before level 6!!
We didn't had the chance to remake and the enemy team was humiliating me way before the ff time, on 10 minutes game.
They just agruped in all the lanes, in 5, and started breaking all the towers on the first minutes, when they realized that they were 5v1.
When it hit 20 minutes, I pressed surrender, and the other guy 0/30 VOTED NO to the ff, I cant believe..
They eventually broke the nexus in 25 minutes, the game was like 80/11
when the game finished, all the enemies leaved the room at the same time, deducting that they dont even reported all the 4 trolls on my team.
I sent the full video of the game to riot, on a ticket, showing they actitute and behaviors
I hope they all got some suspension, bcs if not, I'll unninstall this game
Word of advice? Uninstall it anyway. League is so cancerous at times that it's better to stay away from the game for days, weeks even.

I tryied famous games like the witcher 3.. control.. nfs heat.. even forza horizon 5.. but I kinda played it for some hours and then I lost interest.. Idk I was just playing league bcs it was the only, sometimes, fun to play with friends.. its the only game I've been playing for years, and now I literally have no one to play with anymore. One of my friends is just so bad that we just kicked him from the group, other one just unninstaled it forever, and the other one, literally today, went to serve the military for a whole year. I know I will not find any happiness playing league alone, but if not there, where will I find? I cant be interested for any other game. Maybe I just spent 16 months of work to buy my pc for nothing

My experience is significantly less than League with it, but it is also a MOBA so you might have fun and it does not really feature a toxic and chatty community like league
propably mostly because there is a ping system for all necessary messages and you walk with wasd. I do not even know if it has an actual chat ingame.

I will always find it funny that there are seperate leagues and tournaments for women, non binary people, etc etc, because it sort of undermines the point a lot of people make saying anyone can make it to the big stages in Leage Val etc. All it really does is show that you weren't good enough to make it to the biggest tournaments and had to settle for somewhere else. I get leagues that are made for showcasing up and coming talent, but leagues that are just like "Girls only! Girls are pro gamers to!" just make no sense. Would be cool to have more women and marginalized people in the biggest tournaments, but all these other tournaments being made for them specifically just makes it seem like it wont happen
My feelings are mixed. On one hand, women are typically not given as much access to games consoles etc as children so the skill cap for women will typically be lower due to having less experience through no fault of their own. Therefore it may appear easier to foster a women's comp scene by simply kicking men out. I don't entirely like this argument, but gaming environments are typically so misogynistic that simply excluding the problem represents a very easy shortcut to making competitive gaming more accessible to women.
Honestly? I think a lot of it is because women/anyone who isn’t cis pretty much get harassed for playing a fucking game. The amount of insults, threats, and sexual comments you get are fucking absurd. It’s honestly better to have a safer environment to game than be exposed to even more toxic shit.

A shame that the female streamer was suspended for an action caused by others.
Similar experience used to happen in dota 2. Where a hero called Techies can hold people hostage for up to 5 hours and it only ended because of the Mega Creep feature.
But the griefers/trolls in dota 2 usually received a very lengthy ban, or permanent if caught doing so. Sometimes a small griefing gets punished as well, but holding hostage is definitely bannable and we're talking about Valve and their ban hammers.
You see less of holding hostage in dota 2 nowadays because there's just no easy way to do it after so many updates. Or they were already banned in most of their accounts if not all.

LoL is the only game I know of in which you can get banned for not playing well enough. So most toxic game out there for sure! Would not recommend to anyone.

4 trolls spent 4 hours each trolling a streamer a cumulative total of 16 hours.
Streamer get a 14 day ban for a total of 336 hours.
From a cost to payout ratio. The trolls are clearly the winners here.

This happened to me before... but I didnt get banned thank god.
The dispair I felt that day was no other. The whole team except me was premades and they purposely didnt push to not end. We were winning so bad, but they basically took a tower or did an ace and stopped attacking for like 20 min. The enemy in the begining even though there had gone afk because they didnt see most of them in lane for some time. And in team fights they purposely let the enemy kill me or even them to give them "advantage". They even made fun of it and sometimes would say to the enemy where they where so they could kill us.
I had to push the game alone at some point beacuse they literally started only jungling, refused teamfights and let them take many of the towers. Little by little took some towers, even if I died, until 3h later took nexus
The worst thing was that this game happened late at night. I started the game at 11 PM kinda like "ok last one, is not too late" and ended up going until 2 AM. I was so tired and
When I complaied to RIOT it basically said "I understand, but will do nothing about it"

They at one point gave me chat restriction because I said I acted like a retarded (I had missed the abilities at close range and failed to flash through the wall), offended none except myself. But when I'm basically made hostage in a game the best they can say is "not all game can be good. We hope the next ones are better for you"

reminds me of a game I had waaaay back around season 3 (I think). still rather new to the game, sitting somewhere around Silver in skill. met some people from a different game and found out we all play league. so we teamed up as 3 in a normal game. the enemy team seemed they have choosen me as their prime target, so everyone seemingly visiting my lane at every opportunity to gank me. after my 3rd death, they also started flaming me as well. problem was, that my team wasn't any better. with those "helpfull" tips like "just dont die" or "play save" while calling me shit for diing to this. obviously my mental tanked the hit and I was getting more distressed, even MY OWN PREMADES joined into the rant as well. that is where I snapped and just alt-f4 the game. ofc I instantly got a message from one of my premades how he never thought of me as a ragequitter and that they would all report me for this. I told him as calmly as possible, that I don't give a fk and that this is still a game. a game, where I dont need to let 9 other people abuse me verbally for no reason. especially not when even my own premates don't have my back.
obviously we never played again with eachother but I also never got a ban or other punishment, dispite apparently getting reported by 9 pll for leaving. but this was back then the tribunal was still a thing and considering that I realy never left a game before and that the chat was full of insults vs me and my playstyle, there where propably not enough summoners who thought, that a punishment was justified. the system worked... back then.
interestingly, that was my worst experience with a league game up to today and it never went close to begint like this again. so it is both interesting and horrifiing to se, hat it apparently can be worse

The mvm mode in Team fortress 2 contains many toxic players and trolls, who will kick you off the server just before the rewards at the final wave. I also once encountered a hacker who had two friends with him, so he could always outvote any kick vote with them. I have also heard of pyros who stall the entite wave forever, but this is no longer possible since the new update.
I would have just taken the AFK penalty and logged on another account tbh. You also become invincible after you leave so you can’t die 122 times.

I don't think those trolls were actual fans probably a streamer version of Toxic Stans/Saesengs since they took it that far with no remorse at any point and the fact it caused HER to be banned for 14 days with them getting off scot-free.
