League of Legends introduced the Mastery Point system during season 5. This was a system that would reward the player points each time they played a specific champion. There is no limit to how many points you could have on one champion. This made many players want to have the record for most mastery points on their favorite champion.
Today were taking a look at players who have gone above and beyond to the very best at one champion. Although that may not mean they're the very best at playing the game...

I played a game with that heimer main like 2 months ago and i was SHOCKED by that mastery point number.
I played with a voli that has that many mastery and he only does one tactic

9:30 you forgott that twitch prime capsules give a 30 day exp boost so that is by far the cheaper option which he probably uses
Yeah, but the capsules were announced in late 2019, and he had to get these exp boosts for rp before then

I think main reason why lot of high mastery ACC's is because higher ranked people tend to have multiple accounts instead of grinding out set champ on the main/first account made

I would say it's more due to the focus levels. You simply cannot grind that many games every day on the same champion while always performing well/at your peak. There are a couple outliers (Annie Bot) but you can't just turn off your brain and win while at higher elos. Just watch Tyler1's rank as he goes through a day, he wins in the morning and then he is checked out and slouched in his chair in the afternoon and just losing at that point.
This + one tricking is very often like griefing

I just feel like largely one tricks kinda get dissed on by a lot of people...its nice to see someone proud of being an OTP. I struggle sometimes myself but like..no one should expect great things just because a number shows you love putting time into something you enjoy.
I don't think the intended goal Riot had was achieved so much as kind of proven to be a proof of something else entirely: just how much someone can enjoy a character no matter what it is.
I'm happy being a 3 mil and climbing Lux OTP that has fun with her friends on NA and just goes for rank for the rewards. And I imagine unless I wanna keep improving, that's probably how I'll stay.
the higher you go the more dissed you'll get, which sucks. I'm a 2.3 mill (3.1 mill over all my accs) Volibear one trick, currently in diamond promos but peaked low Master this season
being an OTP comes with some handicaps along the way but imo it's still a lot of fun

I can brush anyone in soloqueue off as no better than myself, so it has little weight. But caring about someone's opinion (like a friend or mutual) as a person hits different for sure.

I wouldnt diss someone for being an otp but it is always fun to destroy someone with a mil mastery points in labe with a champ you rarely ever play.

The best part of the guy who mains Heimerdinger is he's not wrong about the reason you don't need boots/flash. Sure, you can reposition in a fight, but you can also just be tankier and do more damage.
Not so true tbh, there is a logic behind his choice to the extend where it does not "serve" the heimer gamestyle.
But for example sorcerer's boots in one of the most BROKEN item in the entire game. Due to the Magic pen, that u'd get only on items that are worth a lot more golds.
Playing without them gives u less damage overall in the early and mid stages of the game, aswell as less survivability.
Even if u don't wanna run away, it is better to dodge spells than tank them with ur forehead. Even Faker with boots cannot dodge everything, imagine a low elo player..... It is just bad to not play them. A player's logic can be good, but cannot surpass the mathematics of the game. In the end, it is just stats, and how u use them. Speed being the most valuable stat in the entire game because it gets you a faster Macro management of the map, which is how u win.
As for flash, it is the most versatile summoner in the game, but u can totally play without it in various situations, that I agree.

Oh i remember playing against Sherrif Beuford ! (mundo otp, #3 on the list) twas sometime very early 2022 in a norms game with friends. Believe i was playing kayle. He was silver 4 at the time. glad to see hes using those mastery points to scare people in his ranked queues B)
You know what he says about boots really makes sense on certain champions. But, dodging skill shots and general time efficiency from MS is very valuable. Then again that 1100 gold isnt as effective in combat in comparison to a flat out damage unless, your boots save your life from dodging an attack. Maybe hes half right and boots are a situational item for some champions. I play Illaoi and can see myself not going boots into 4 melee when kiting isnt nearly as big of an issue. Unflinching and legend tenacity is about the most value you can get out of tenacity so you dont always need merc into cc comps. Then with that 1100 gold I could buy a budget item quickly that also fuels my mythic passive.
Tbh not buying boots or at least not buying them early on Heimer is/was a thing since he also gets move speed while near turrets (both actual turrets and his Q), so similarly to MF he can get away with it early/mid game. Once game is past laning phase well you're not exactly meant to be turtling on your turrets (expecially as most divers nowadays will kill you anyway, and long range champions can snipe the turrets from out of range).
Ofc, you could also get... more move speed...not buying them at all is definitely not the norm.
Imo if there are champs who need the highest damage posible the earlier the bettern like akali for example, the only way you get ccd with a champ like that is having a click hard cc or smth like that, otherwise boots are pretty usless in lane fase
@@carlosflores2156akali is a champ that has to move after literally every ability, it‘s straightup her kit. Also she can roam quite well where boots are also quite important

That was its original purpose before ranked was introduced, after all it was the main objective of games, to have fun, not to stress about them to the point of affecting daily life.

Reason for Get Controlled being so high ranked prior to his earlier worse rankings is due to him starting to play with very good players in duoq for content for example PSZ was one of these players quite frequently a very strong draven main who guys mia alot
I played with the highest Mastery point Fiddlesticks player a year or so back. He had 7 or 8 million points and I was shocked!

Karasmai(Challenger Kayn player on US) has around 15 million mastery on Kayn but that's across multiple accounts.
He's a shaco main. I can see why he plays 12 hours a day, and has 10M mastery in Bronze. He's got no life. I hope he find peace and success.

I used to play with nolife raphael and fynn, there are a lot of ppl who pay you the xp boost so he can stay rank 1 and thats how he earns it (or used to earn it (atleast in 2017)) but they only grinded bot games 3v3 back in the day

Was not expecting to see a video about Nolife Fynn. Played against him 2 years ago in a ARAM match, at that time he was about lvl 3100. Just a few days prior I looked up the leaderboard for summoner level, then I get matched with the highest lvl player soon after, was very funny to me.

About 1 year ago I was in iron and played against a tryndamere with almost 7 million mastery points.
As a Korean just to analyze the name for you, the first two words "트롤" means troll, second and third "협회" meaning association and the last two words "대표" meaning the headmaster.

Some people despite what the majority of people seem to claim are just awful at certain things and information doesn't stick with them as good. I've been trash at games forever even trying to be competitive looking up guides back in the call of duty days playing gamebattles scrimming ect but I was awful even playing 10+ hours many days. I never even got decent and same with league when I started in 2011 and virtually every game I've tried to get good at. Some people just suck

I love ya my man, but your facts are a little off. If you check my history, I climbed slowly every season. The seasonS before I hit plat, I reached gold in flex... I mostly flex cuz I'm always playing with my community and its rare I play solo or duo ranked. My premades being apex predators MAY be a large factor though. Keep up the awesome channel!!!

let me help you real quick:
If you want to calculate how much time someone spends gaming daily, you divide the number of hours they've played by the number of days they've spent gaming. This gives you the hours per day as a result.
You can apply the same logic to 1488 hours in 62 to get the daily spend hours as a result.
If you actually do the math, you'll notice that its impossible to reach 8766 hours per year, because the result is slightly above 24 hours per day.
8766/365=24,014
1488/62=24
SO:
1488 hours in 62 days = 8766 hours in a year.
At the very latest NOW you should notice that its precisely about the same amount of time... just in a different time period.... no clue wtf you did lmfao

I found GetConTrolled 2 times in Ranked, the first when I was just starting to play ranked, the second on the rival team in a flex. I also helped him get a little rank, everyone was willing to duoboost him for free xddd. I also played once with Flyn in an ARAM.
Fynn has League partner (or atleast had) and it has cp boost + you can get xp boost eith prime that can be cheap

I ran into an 8mil Darius yday. He lost the blind call on top and then everything but supp was called so he just took Darius supp. He took no farm and was still like 5/0/7 by the end of the game. We won haha
Actually i got around 300 levels at 1 year with amazon prime. We are talking about 70 bucks a year and i play the game since late 2010. Currently at 601 level and sometimes i skip days at league. I play average 5 games a day mostly ranked

I really never liked the argument of "I'm here to have fun" cause I get it, and games should be fun, but if you don't actually care about the outcome of the game, why are you in ranked and not a normal; where it's the same game but no one's rank is at risk.

Reality is, the more you play ranked, the easier it is to get hardstuck. You need to play at the beginning of the season and then stop. Tough I personnaly only play ranked because the group size is limited to 2 and there's less troll

High CP on low ranking accounts is likely due to the account being our main, or only account. My main account is Bronze, and I have Mastery 7 on a few accounts, and just recently reached level 100 on my account (there was a level 30 cap last time I played). I also have a couple accounts that are under level 40, that have zero masteries and they are Platinum 2 & 4. I don't like to play on them much, because my main account is what I've been playing on since 2013, and I don't want to progress another account. I just wanted to know what I'd get ranked on accounts that didn't have a history of low elo. haha
That Ashe player is actually a celebrity on the russian server. No one actually knows who they are, and most things point to the fact that its a bot account. He never communicates, acts like the typical yuumi bots, but still wasnt banned to this day. Played vs him once, and its totally a troll or a bot
Hey Nicolai, great video, i just found it searching for hardstuck players and elo hell and i wanna share a little piece of advice with you:
I have a strong pc config: ryzen 7 5800X, 32 gb of ram, Rtx 2080ti no issues whatsoever running anything on it, i'm a league player, i dont play at highest settings ever cause is not usefull for your fps but the point that i'm trying to tell is that Porofessor is not for everyone, take in consideration that some of us have potato pc's that can barely run league, honestly after i installed Porofessor i got massive ingames spikes,stutters and my fps dropped from constant 240(cause this is how i set them in order to match my monitor) to 170 even below that in teamfights or in scenarios where are multiple enemies or objectives on the screen ....none of that happen before installing porofessor.......The whole conclusion is: porofessor is a great app, very usefull but it comes with a cost , if it eats up so much that i can feel the difference on my pc , what it will do to a normal one that is not so great.(i must add that i turned off all useless notifications from the app, advertisements, overlay for other games, hardware acceleration etc).
i remember fighting hiemerdinger x hiemerdinger at garena ph server back when arcane was released. The shock in my face to see 30million mastery points😭 while i myself is a baby lvl 4 hiemer dinger player agaisnt him😭 i lost so bad, my guy carried the whole team😭

when I started playing league I had a laptop and no mouse. so I legit moved around with my mouse pad, would move down to my ability bar and click with my pad, then move back to were I wanted to send then ability. after a while I evolved and started using qwer with the mouse pad but for a while there i was probably the worst player on the rift without question. my mmr suffers to this day
very little coaching (just under 2 hours) can make a dedicated 1 trick go from iron to Plat+. With that being said boosters boost.
