This guy actually seems sincere about murdering this dude. Like most of my African-American friends he had a temper flare up and a lack of control, for just a moment. Changed the lives of so many people in an instant.
To see him confessing to his girlfriend at the end was pretty hard. Knowing you did something you can't take back suck so bad. We've all got that memory we think back on and just shudder. At least it didn't cost us our lives

Yeah. Proper remorseful stuff.
Yes, two things can be true at the same time... You can do something heinous and try to get away with it, but later when you realize how wrong and stupid you were, you can have genuine remorse... And the joking with his girlfriend thing... That's what happens with grief. You can have moments of ironic laughter. That doesn't prove he wasn't genuine.

Its crazy because this is literally the first person I've seen who cried, and not for just himself. Usually you hear the killer say "my life is over" but for the first time in all of these videos I've watched, this man cried mainly for the person he killed. He acknowledged that THE OTHER person's life is over FOR NOTHING. He acknowledged all the other lives aside from his own that he ruined senselessly 😢

Wow. I was honestly not expecting him to say all of the things he said when he and his girlfriend were alone in the room. That was such an intense, intimate bit of reflection from him. Whether you believe it is genuine remorse or not, we don't usually hear things like that in these interrogations.

Right he realizing a little too late how good he had it. That damn pride will do it....
He recognized that he hurt his kids, his cousin's family, his girlfriend, and himself. He realized it was stupid, foolish, and unchangeable. He said that his cousin didn't deserve it, but that he deserves everything coming to him. I know I am perfectly capable of being fooled, but that looked like remorse to me. Remorse does nothing to undo the horrific crime, but it is the necessary first step to rehabilitation and to any sort of spiritual healing that he might get. I hope Clarence maintains that remorse. And may God bless Shad's family.
Remorse CRAP!!,,THAT dude is CRAZY
Well his little remorse Won't help him here.Away he goes
Yeah. Like he realized he actually fucked up and he couldn’t blame anyone else. Like, in that moment he realized it was himself that fucked up his life. This is one of the first criminals that I heard a sincere regret in his voice when he was talking to his girlfriend. Not because he got caught either. Obviously that's a huge part but he seemed to grasp the true consequences of his actions and the effects on the victims and his families. Sad that it took all this for his perspective to be changed.
well said
I'm sure that's sincere regret, but regret for getting caught, not remorse for killing his cousin. Remorse is not the same as regret. Remorse is an active conscience that detests one's bad acts. Regret is feeling bad for one's self and one's consequences to be suffered and is all about self, not about the suffering we cause others.
I feel the same way, I can really feel that he's remorseful, not just because he got caught but for the consequences of his actions towards the victims

A good lawyer could have created reasonable doubt to get him off because that crap footage, him not having the most solid abili, & previously beefing with his cousin was literally all they had.

It’s so easy to cut people outta your life, just don’t go around them anymore! I’ve had two sis’ that treated me like a crap so I quit them, one at a time 5 yrs ago. No anger, nobody got hurt…. and I couldn’t be happier 😊

I am a masonry contractor, sometimes I got mess over by people giving bad checks or not paying their balance when the job is complete. The funny thing is it’s always the people who I know, sometimes I do feel like doing something evil to them, but situations like these is what brings me back to reality, whatever little freedom i have, it means more to me than all the money in this world. His life is over, the prison system have no problem giving him life, to them it’s a win win situation. A smart man learned from his mistakes but a man with wisdom learned from the mistakes of others. Not my quote, I heard it.
This is heartbreaking. To me, the fact that he is worried first about his kids and Shad’s kids instead of worrying about his being in prison, that shows there was real remorse. I hope Shad’s family can forgive and find peace, and I hope Clarence can find peace as well.
He also knew the video cameras were going!

His remorse and realizing his wrath has destroyed his life should be a lesson to us all. We have to control our emotions and take moment to realize there's consequences and repercussions to our actions. It only takes a second to get in trouble and a life time to get out of it.
That's probably a lesson for only about 1% of the population. The other 99% of the population would never consider being involved in such a heinous crime.
@@steveking8548 It doesn't have to be the same exact situation 😶 I'm saying certain situations set off people differently. It's not about controlling emotions, because you never will be able to. it's about getting familiar with and recognizing the feelings you feel in order to be able to release them or handle them with self control.
Practice understanding and feeling your emotions, so you know them well.

This is heartbreaking. One moment can change an entire life. My father used to say that people have to think before you act no matter how right you might be in your anger. It's not worth your life.
This is a lesson we all have to learn how to control our anger.. anger management should be taught in school

Sucks cause it happens to everyone, that’s the issue with guns, when pride is on the line, is takes a second to end one’s life, it’s a way to instantly get over such problems, regret comes later when it wears off

I am so glad you shared this video. My heart genuinely goes out to everyone involved.
Even the murdering piece of shit??? Congrats loser
Nope. Dude made a choice. His remorse is for getting caught. He wasn’t remorseful when he first walked in the room.
The problem is how casual murder has been made in the black community, people get angry and threaten to kill each other all the time over the smallest of things like a seat on the bus and don’t think about the implications or consequences of such thoughts. I see this so much in my city and it’s absolutely destroying the communities.
It’s been researched before and was pretty common knowledge before all the research is hidden nowadays. It’s a genetic thing with most POCs. It’s about the lack of not being able to think a head and plan ahead. Low impulse control too. It’s from a smaller prefrontal cortex.
Life is cheap
It’s their choice to behave that way. He’s a grown man. He knew what he was doing. Now live with the consequences.
7% of the population responsible for 50% of murders.
I’ve been saying this. Black Lives don’t even matter to black people because they kill more of their own people than any other race.
I watched many of these videos. This is the very first remorse. It touched me deeply. I feel for the whole family. I'm sending my deepest condolences to the whole family. R.I.P.
This is so very sad. I pray for everyone involved.
It's pretty heartbreaking to watch this man realize his consequences at the end. Not nearly as heartbreaking as what the victims family experienced, but still, I've never seen a man face reality like that. Makes me imagine how it could feel and its a shitty feeling !
RIP to the cousin.
The crazy thing is, his family is the victims, he killed his own cousin
This was a sad, senseless killing but the cousin sounds like a complete crackhead and a nuisance.
he knew the consequences before tho.
It speaks volumes that he acknowledged that he understands that he didn’t realise what he was doing was affecting other people, over something so small as what, 300 dollars?
He should be commended, as much as you can commend a person who just murdered somebody, for showing regret and realising how petty his reasons for killing family was.
The way he told his girlfriend she needs to do what she needs to do and date and find someone that treats her how she deserves really touched me. He is facing the results of the worst thing he's ever done and he's worrying about her. That really speaks to who he is. I don't think he is a terrible person I think he fucked up, he fucked up bad as a person can fuck up but him thinking of her like that right as it's hitting him shoes something about him.
It can’t be undone, and it really sucks that it happened. Everyone lost in this situation and it’s tough to see. It’s almost easier watching someone with no remorse try and defend themselves because this was hard to sit through
The end was
"raise your right hand and swear to God" 😂😂😂 like that's gonna mean anything 😂
My prayers go out to him and his family.
