  • Bought this 2005 Polaris Phoenix, 200cc, 4 stroke, CVT ATV at the Rhinebeck Car Show Swap Meet for $350. Someone attempted to fit it with a snorkel for mud/swamp riding. It came mostly complete with decent tires. In this video, we will check to see if the engine is seized, will check the oil, and will attempt an old start/cold start.

The air filter at the front is for the CVT drive belt. The hole in the side of the air was going to be for the engine snorkel. If you were talking about Tom Martin in PA, he did mention in one video that they do replace a lot of wheel bearings.

The Polaris 200's serial number is located on the left side of the chassis, right above the left-side A-arm. I have the same color bike, mine is 2007. These bikes are pretty easy to ride, so they are great for the entire family. I don't understand why people make those stupid modifications just to get their bikes ruined. 🤔

Kids with no supervision, the perfect example. Those rear tires are the correct size and they are the only wheel on a Polaris with the 4x110 bolt pattern, common on some Honda ATC'S. The front bolt pattern are 4x156, a common Polaris size. Since the oem carb is gone, hit it with a pz and universal filter and see what you've got. Harvey, your yard is full of unfinished content.
