The fact that you did a detail from The Diswasher: Vampire Smile made me even more if a fan! That game brought back so many happy memories 😭
There's another tiny detail in Arkham Knight that I don't remember anyone else commenting on ever... The clothes on some characters aren't flat textures but have physics to them. I noticed it on the Joker infected Christina but I'm not sure if any other characters have the same clothing movement. I noticed when she was talking that her blouse was realistically animated while she talked, it fell outwards when she was leaning forward and fell back onto her chest and stomach when she leant back. I was so amazed at that detail considering most clothing doesn't behave like that in games outside of flowing capes or perhaps in pre rendered cutscenes. It's just so subtle but immersive.

One reason could be that I was looking at how her Joker infection was affecting her like I did with the others and that's when I made the discovery when I was looking at her that way... Another reason could be that I was just perving on her...
It could be one reason or both, it's multiple choice really with what you think.

Styx is such an enigma of a game cus it feels like they had infinite budget and no budget at the same time
Probably one of my favorite games. Definitely in my top 10. Actually sorta fills the hole that Dark Messiah of Might and Magic 2 left
on one of the overwatch 2 maps, sorry I was trying to comment when I was playing that map, soit kicked me out of the match lol, so I don’t remember the name of it, you can find a rocket league ball in a gym

Your videos are the best possible advertisements for games! I'm on my way to pick up Styx: Shards of Darkness today! The gameplay looks good, it's a game I feel I could get into and you showcasing how well they handled deaths in a game (the character encouraging the player that you'll get passed this eventually was the selling point, really) seems really fun! And I've never heard about it until now.
There’s a great detail for Two Face, on Harvey’s side of the face, you can see the scar that Catwoman gave him in Arkham City. By now it’s healed but if you look close then you can notice it.
The "Game Over, Man" line in the Styx death scene comes from Aliens (One of my favorite movies) The "I'll be back" line is from Terminator 2, the apple pie bit is from American Pie, and the controller in your pocket line is a play off of a Mae West quote. Love your videos!

At 6:27 is my favourite easter egg, its hilarious and amazing that he did the famous line from the movie of terminator "ill be back".

I love the styx games! and his death screens in the second one made me laugh SO MUCH. even though I personally didn't die a lot, (reloading saves yay!) but my god they are funny! that pizza one is my favorite.

Honestly just for the death screens alone I'd love to play this game..... I love the American pie one so far
2 more details i know from Doom 3, 1 is in the checkpoint where you get your pistol, if you shoot your weapon before the guard reaches the console he will have somethings to say, the 2nd is regarding the technician in the vent, if you come back after hell broke loose you will hear him being attacked and a few seconds later see who the attacker is.
Movie reference scene in Styx:
1: Apple pie is American Pie, scene i dont even need to explain.
2: I'll be back is obviously from Terminator and the middle finger is the thumbs up in Terminator 2 while being melted in the end of the movie.
A couple of left 4 dead details to be noted:
1) when you are reviving your fallen survivor companion when hoard attacks, your survivor will talk in a rush, however when you reviving your fallen survivor companion when there is no hoard, your survivor will talk calmly.
2) When your survivor companion died your survivor (player or bot) that goes close to the corpses will moan and feel sad. Even as early as in the campaign Dead Centre in the first stage, when the survivors died before they make their introduction they will moan on their dead comrade
3)When playing in the campaign Hard Rain, when it goes to stage 2 (the sugar factory) your survivors will speak softly as they all know the Witches will be agitated when they are close to the survivors.
i noticed all of these, the first detail is my favorite by a long shot and really shows just how much thought was put in the gaem
I'm not sure how often he checks his emails but I sent him a clip from Call of duty for a video game detail, also I love saying hi to the robot in the new push mode, he even reacts to being fired on during firefights but disregards it, I guess he's bulletproof?
I don't know if it was ever said in a video but in re4 original, when in the merchant menu, you're looking at the character and when you hit buy or sell or whatever (maybe even before that) you see the coat clip and when you hit the button, he opens up the coat to the rest of the menus

I also recognized Aliens, Terminator 2, and American Pie, in Shards of Darkness.

The moving body bag remember me a similar detail in another game. In Legacy Of Kain Soul Reaver, you can visit the Silenced Cathedral, home of the vampire Zephon and his followers. They devolved into some spider like creatures who imprison their victims into cocoons.
And if you look at the cocoons attached to the roof, some of them a moving meaning there are some human still alive inside.
Awesome video ! The grounded detail is also found in the upper yard , to the right of the Shed where you can find another skeleton identical to that one .

Here's a detail I discovered on Battlefield 1
In the Map Neville Nights, there are electric lights in the German trenches that when your close to, you can hear the lights make an electric hum
Yo! Heres a thing I found in the 2016 Doom: there is another turkey puncher in one of the levels! Although I cant remember which one😅 But it is in a corner behing 3 large boxes that you can jump over.
In the first riddler challenge in the game, just don’t open the blockade before he finishes talking and you’ll get a giant monologue that you would’ve missed
There's also a little nod to Capcom on the Turkey puncher, called "Nabcon" in the same font as the early capcom logo
And the game's logo is modelled after Street Fighter Alpha 3's.
Bastion is currently disabled in Overwatch 2 but his Brick skin has special effects when you shoot the gun. i think it has special sounds too but i cant confirm atm. Also all the bots on the training map say 'Hi' as well!
The STYX death scenes seemed to also reference when you'd defeat an enemy in Shadow of War and they'd have some lengthy thing to say about it
in Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath, the unit's voice lines change depending on what they're doing. For example with the "Sniper" unit, once damaged, the actual sniper will die. As a result, the spotter will instead speak, sounding distressed.
Bobert also has voice lines in overwatch 2 if both teams are near each other and fighting lines
Idk if this has been covered in this series, but a very good detail from Arkham knight is when you first leave the clock tower and get a call from some character, you turn towards the theater to see manbat quickly fly across the screen.

There's a reference in Deep Rock Galactic, it's simple, but I still like it: While on a mission where you have to connect pipes to 3 different oil spewing holes in the ground, enemies will attack and the pipes will break, while fixing them, your character has a chance to say this: "I could be a plumber! I just need a big bushy mustache..." You probably know who that's a reference to, and if not, Mario.

Out of all the references from styx I recognised the ape pie one to be American pie and the terminator one
The first detail in this video also applies to the robots in the training grounds, also Bob if your the Ashe that sent him out
In Control when you use the shield ability to pick up rubble the metal detector actually reacts to all the bits of rebar in the concrete shields

On the Turkey Puncher arcade machine, the name at the bottom feels like Nabcon might be a homage to Capcom and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. And gotta love Styx breaking the 4th wall amd movie references. Never thought I'd hear someone refenence American Pie as an easter egg.

On the Hollywood map in overwatch 2 there are these squid mini figures if you use Moira and aim at the eye on the squid the individual eye will move
"I'll be back" and then flips you off instead of the thumbs up lmao that was great
In grounded on top of the picnic table there is a detail. Inside the maze there is a white die in the center. If you knock the die over and get a nat 20 you will receive a new mutation. Not sure if it counts as a detail

I found a easter egg in the new modern warfare 2 campaign, theres a achievement for killing two enemies while flashbanged called Daredevil. Obviously a easter egg to marvels Blind Vigilante Daredevil (the picture for it is also a blindfolded man which is also Daredevils outfit in the netflix show)

Dishwasher vampire smile wow you just brought me back to being a 18-year-old again. I never played it on the pretty princess level but I did beat it on the 2nd the hardest difficulty. That game gave me hours of fun and hours of pure anger and frustration.

There is an easter egg in mark of the ninja remastered. If you kill someone near an edge (while standing on the wall below the edge) it will throw the soldier and you will get points from leap of faith.
So i just hot the pre order for modern warfare 2 (the new one) and if you shoot captain price he has a chance of saying “how did a muppet like you pass selection”
Another thing in overwatch 2 is that if you say "thank you" when the tutorial takes you to the target range, the ai voice (forgo her name) will say "you're welcome"

in the game Team Fortress 2,the scout class has "the force of nature" which is a double barrel sawed off shotgun(i think?),it has 2 rounds in the Chamber, if you only shoot 1 bullet and reload Scout will still eject both rounds and actually loose the extra bullet
